Soaring Seabird - Yachats Ocean View with Hot Tub

Very peaceful and cozy. My family loved it!

Beautiful location and plenty of room!

Can't find a better location. This is the 2nd time we've stayed here for our family gathering. Magnificent view, easy access to 804 trail and the beach. Kitchen is well equipped. Great place for large family gathering. Lots of games, dog friendly.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two things were evident right away - the bedrooms were dirty and the closets chaotic (extra sheets, blankets, and pillows stuffed into them), and both king beds were very uncomfortable. The master bed was soft with no support and the guest bed was hard. The windows were quite dirty and one of our guests washed the large living room windows and the bedroom windows. It made quite a difference even after it rained.We asked for several items that were missing (washcloths, shower mats and large kitchen garbage bags) and they were delivered promptly by Peter.Also on the positive side, the appliances were new and all worked exceptionally well. The living area was quite large and had most items that were needed in cooking.The location on the 804 trail and steps to the beach was the best. With all the positive things, nothing can make up for an unclean house and uncomfortable beds.

We had the absolute BEST time at this property! Our family was able to meet here and enjoy every minute. The kitchen was so well equipped with what we needed to prepare meals, while the living space made it so easy to enjoy food, company, and the outdoor space. As far as vacation rentals go, this was probably one of the best ones I have stayed at in a while! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your property!

Location was ideal. It was close to a beautiful beach and within walking distance of town.

Beautiful house with amazing views

The place was clean, and the views from the deck were amazing! The beach access was relatively easy and the walking path will take you all the way into Yachats. The beds and pillows were comfy.There were just a few things with the house that were a bit odd. We had a really hard time finding outlets that worked. The access to the hot tub is challenging. The gate that takes you around the back would be the easiest way to access the hot tub, but it was broken, so we had to walk around the front on sharp rocks. Per the checkout instructions the management company wants you to have all towels at least in the dryer prior to leaving which is annoying from a timing standpoint. All this to say, the place was exactly what we needed for our 5 day stay out on the coast.

The views are spectacular, the house was clean, and the furnishing met all of our needs.We cooked for ourselves the whole time there, and this house was one of the best laid out and equipped houses we have stayed in. From serving dishes to mixing bowls— the house had everything we needed to cook for ourselves.We like to come to Yachats when visiting our daughter- and I have no doubt we will stay here again.

Hot tub lock was broken and hanging. Lock box was ready to fall off the wall by the front door. Rotting food in freezer.

The space, location and communications were great. Thoroughly enjoyed the decks and views. There were some small hiccups: door locks were old and difficult to lock and unlock; connecting to WiFi was challenging; and we never could get the hot tub unlocked. Otherwise, super time.

We loved everything about this place. Well stocked, great location and the views and beach access are unbeatable!!

The Soaring Seabird was a great base for exploring Yachat and the nearby coastal attractions. When we felt like being home bodies, we enjoyed doing puzzles with a great view of the ocean. Location was great. Far enough from Yachat to be quiet but just a short ride to town for food or groceries. We had a lovely time.
