Very impressed with view and property in general! Very clean and nice simple decor! It is very close and shares the outdoor space with the neighbors. A little more privacy would be nice but overall a very peaceful space to stay for our weekend!
We had a wonderful time with our family on the beach. Had a cook out and celebrated granddaughter’s bd. Hope to return.
We had a great stay and will stay there again.
We loved staying at the cottage on Lake Osoyoos. Beautiful design elements and comfortable bed The kitchen was well stocked. We loved the location and walking straight out to the lake. The guests in the next cottage were a nice family and quiet but given the proximity there is not privacy so beware if that is your desire. The downstairs seating is worn and not comfortable as it fold into twin beds. I highly suggest to owners to replace this with a pull out couch for more comfort.
This was a beautiful and well built chalet. We would have loved to enjoy the lake, but it was too cold. (historic cold temperatures!) It was so cold that both lock boxes were frozen and we could not access the house keys. Fortunately, the team that helped us book the chalet, were very helpful and contacted the maintenance/house keeper who was nearby at the time to help us in. The location was great as it was just off the highway and close to the stores for supplies. Our timing may have not been the best, but we still enjoyed our stay here. We plan on returning again during the summer!
This property was everything and more than we expected. Will be back.
Great little house and a gorgeous lake.
We loved the bones of the house. You can tell that they spared no expense in the construction but it wasn’t what we would call comfortable. The house was cool but they outfitted it with the cheapest items. Some examples: the handles on the knives were broken (husband almost chopped his finger off while cutting carrots), there were no bbq tools to clean the bbq and it was filthy, no sheet pans, there was a washer and dryer but no laundry soap or dryer sheets, we were given a half roll of paper towels with no back up rolls (the cleaning lady did drop off an extra one), the love seats were uncomfortable, and the tv reminded us of Michael Scott’s tv from the episode of The Office where Jan throws a Dundee at it. I get that it’s a rental so you don’t want the best stuff but we’ve stayed in a lot of rentals and this was disappointing. Also, unless you’re renting the house next door too you should know that you’ll be sharing your vacation space with others. Lastly, the owner stopped by twice in 1 day which really makes you feel uncomfortable as a guest.
I could just throw all the nice words from the dictionary but the best way to describe the experience were surreal, simple, and perfect :) We just went out to have a staycation and the house provided every bit of that! Nice House? Check. Well organized, lit well, and nice design! we would dream to have something like this. Lake? Check Check Check! Nothing more to say here but it's really just beside the house. We dipped in there from time to time but our neighbors at that time seemed to have enjoyed it for 24 hours. It was a bit cold for me though (Summer Time) but I forgot about it as the view takes a hold of you. Relaxation? Yes! The tree just outside the house is perfect! It gave shade, we spent a lot of time chatting by the patio, enjoyed a lot of coffee and grilled foods, anything under the sun. Also at night, it can get dark enough for you to see the stars and some OORT gas clouds, yeah the milky way clouds, if you're lucky enough that everyone in the street and across the lake shut off the lights. Overall it was great. It all comes together and the view becomes picturesque. We liked the bathrooms, bed, kitchen, furnitures, grills, patio, and the tree.
