Great location and a great view of the lake. Easy get down to the lake and easy to use the amenities. They have. Great to be able to use their kayaks and a few other things to on the water. Highly recommends please

Awesome family time

This house has everything you might need. It felt like we were visiting grandma’s house. We went swimming off the docks and enjoyed fishing in the evening. Beautiful views of the lake. We will definitely be back.

One of our favorite places to stay at the lake with a great location and value. Owners are very accommodating and allowed early check in. Made great memories with the family. We look forward to returning in the future.

Second time staying here. Got there a little early and the cleaners were just finishing up. House was very clean and ready to go. The weather wasnt great this year but we still had a good time. Thank you.

This home was perfect for a relaxing lake getaway! This comfortable and spacious home provided everything we could have needed. The kitchen had everything! Two separate lounge spaces and beautiful outdoor spaces. I really enjoyed sitting on the covered porch watching the boat traffic. The dock area was wonderful for fishing and swimming. Only 15 minutes to groceries, shops and restaurants. Wildlife in our backyard daily! I would definitely stay at this beautiful, clean home again!

Overall the communication with the owner was great! Enjoyed the views and spending time on the dock. One of the kayaks seat was missing but still useable. Enjoyed our time with family. Thank you for letting us stay in your little paradise.

Nice and relaxing… place was great

It literally feels like you’re at grandma’s house! Great view and spot on the lake away from the busier areas of the lake. We were pleasantly surprised to find some kayaks, life jackets, and fishing poles to use. We also appreciated the first aid kit readily available in the bathroom! We had one in our car but it was so convenient to have one already at the house. The kitchen was beautifully equipped - even an electric griddle and toddler items! We had a great relaxing stay!

Beautiful property on the lake. So cozy and warm and comfortable. My teens enjoyed fishing off the dock. Will come back again.

Mother daughter weekend. Despite the first night having to stay in a hotel because there was no power, the rest of the weekend was delightful. The house is tucked away and beautifully situated on SML. House is roomy with all accommodations needed; just like home.

Great location, very clean, great place for family

I used this property for my employee appreciation trip and it was perfect. We had a group of eight and it was a great location on the water with a very easy walk down to the dock. Check-in was easy. Texting with the host was easy. The house had a welcoming grandparents home atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Our stay was great. This was the 3rd year and we are looking forward to this trip again next year.

My family and I have been coming to SML for 15 years now. We love it! We had such a great time at The Bower House. It had everything we needed and more. Great location. We will definitely stay here again.

As always, the Bower House provided such a wonderful trip for our family. We've been coming here since our kids were little and this year, we're sending our oldest to college. A cozy space with enough bedrooms for everyone tucked in the perfect alcove of the lake. We can't wait to go back next year!

NO water pressure!! Couldn’t get all the shampoo out of my hair. Fitted sheets too small kept coming off the bed. Grease trap in grill was full, caught on fire. Door know in bathroom was broken and I was locked in. All appliances were very dated. Very spacious, beds were comfortable, nice dock and clean bathrooms. AC very loud, water filtration system VERY loud. Nice short walk to the dock. After driving 20 min. To take our trash to the dump it was closed, no times were listed on the information. So we have to take it home with us and go to the dump here. We have trash pick up at our home but not until later in the week. We had fun, but will not recommend or stay again unless there are significant up dates done.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this property. It had all the amenities that we would need. The kids enjoy kayaking and swimming at the dock. We also enjoyed the sunset views and the balcony . Their is so much to do at the lake. We definitely recommend this property for all it has to offer.

We enjoyed our yearly week at the lake with all of our family. We had plenty of room in the house for all of us. The location has an “out of the way” feel, but is only 5 minutes to the bridge by boat and 15 to the grocery store by car. Definitely a good week.

The Bower House had everything to ensure a great family vacation...fully equipped kitchen, cleanliness, beautiful dock/swimming area, all kinds of water equipment in the boathouse, and an easy walk to the water. April was very prompt in answering questions. It was a perfect vacation!

I loved this cabin and I will definitely be returning!
