Stayed May 20, 2026My family has owned a home on Smith Lake since the mid 70's, but, currently only have lots (and no home yet), so, we rented this lovely home in a peaceful, quiet area of the lake called Brushy Creek surrounded by the Bankhead Forest. We actually only live about 10 minutes away in Addison, and, the home is about 5 minutes from the town area of Arley, so, it was a perfect for us; close to stores (Son's of Arley, Dollar General, and Hyatt's Market) for last minute grocery items or ice, and, close enough that extended family could come and go to visit, eat a meal, or cast a line!!

Stayed Apr 24, 2026We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lake house. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, making the entire experience smooth from start to finish. The location was peaceful and serene—perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.The home itself was spotless, well-maintained, and offered plenty of space for our group. It was more than comfortable for a large gathering, with room for everyone to spread out while still feeling cozy and connected. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely return in the future.

Stayed May 23, 2025There were a combined 4 families ( some related, some were dear friends) together for my daughter that will be going on a year long military deployment. Excellent property for a large group. The house has plenty of room for everyone to have their own space . The weather wasn’t the best, so we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit and only grilled out once due to rain.

Stayed Nov 27, 2024The house was exactly as described and it was perfect for 6 adults and 4 children. Everyone had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the couple of trails by the house.
