10/10, best VRBO ever! House was so welcoming it felt like you were really home. Perfect setting, well equipped and stocked with everything you could possibly want or need. The screened in porch was perfect for sitting, watching TV or just listening to the birds. Highly recommend.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen and house were well stocked with anything we could need. The rooms were nicely decorated and there was plenty of space. We loved the deck and gazebo and particularly enjoyed the screened in porch. We'd stay here again and highly recommend it.

This home is an absolute sanctuary full of lush greenery, and sunlight. It is immediately clear how much love and care has been poured into every inch of the property. We enjoyed exploring all the little sitting nooks inside and out. We especially enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch, sipping wine and listening to the bird calls. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and there are several outdoor sitting areas. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are comfy, and we did not want for anything! There are also a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We definitely plan to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property and will recommend this rental house to anybody traveling to Cape Fear. The check-in process was very easy as all access codes were provided well in advance. The owner of the property provided all the information and rules to abide by during our stay. He also provided a way to communicate with him directly if any issues were encountered. The property is extremely well maintained and beautiful. Furthermore, the pictures shown as advertisement are exact representations of the house. Just to emphasize some of the best aspects of the property: the kitchen was beautiful and fully equipped, the living/ dinning room space was ample and functional, and the bathroom in the master suite was amazing. The rest of amenities included a breathtaking outdoor space and a 2 car garage that was very useful. This place was one of the best properties my family has ever stayed in. It made for a wonderful first time visit to NC.

Mason Knoll is an amazing find and Jeff is amazing. He was responsive to our inquiries and is kind and understanding. We had stayed at Mason Knoll with my father (3 generations), myself and husband and daughters. Jeff remembered us and, since my father has passed, he offered his condolences and welcomed us back after time away. This is a wonderful place located in a great area of town (easy access to downtown Wilmington and the beaches) and a great community.

Amazing house in a quiet neighborhood!

This house is perfect in all ways. Location is great - close to UNCW and Wrightsville. The screened porch was an added bonus when raining. Comfortable beds, sofas and kitchen well stocked. We will definitely rent again if we have the need.

I would highly recommend staying here! The property felt like I was staying at home. The location was very nice in a quiet neighborhood and the house was stocked with more than you’ll ever need for your stay. We stayed there with 6 adults and our toddler daughter and we had plenty of room. The house had lots of seating and the outdoor spaces were perfect! Jeff was very helpful and responsive through the booking process and our stay. If you’re in the area don’t miss out on this house!

Fantastic house and location! Owners are wonderful!

My husband and I stayed here for six weeks. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated. Very thoroughly equipped. Everything is comfortable. The property is simply gorgeous and quite private and peaceful. Convenient to beaches and downtown and pretty much everywhere else you might want to go, with a few nice little restaurants very close by. Jeff and Ellen are wonderful hosts, very responsive and helpful. They have thought of everything at this house. We will definitely return!

This is probably one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful, spotless and well cared for. The attention to detail and quality of furnishings were great. The house was beautiful and very comfortable! Everything was very clean which is the most important thing to me when staying at a rental home. The location was basically central to everything, about 20 min to the beaches and everything else such as grocery stores, restaurants etc were very easy to get to. We did a lot of sightseeing, finding all the spots we wanted to see where some of our favorite TV shows and movies were filmed. The owner Jeff was very helpful in guiding us with recommendations for dining, etc and very prompt in answering questions and super nice. We had a wonderful time in Wilmington and would 100% stay at this home again if we are ever in the area in the future! If you’re thinking of renting a home in Wilmington this is a great choice. We came to North Carolina to see friends. This property was just amazing. It was in a great location. We went to a few restaurants near by and they were within walking distance. People around us were friendly and it was just a nice vacation spot. The weather did not turn out so good but we felt very safe where we were. Very easy to communicate questions to the owners. Would definitely recommend if you are in Wilmington!

Very clean

This was our second year visiting and it was even better than the first! Clean, spacious, and well-equipped for heading out to the beach or staying in and cooking together. We had everything we possibly needed and it really felt like true, recharge-your-batteries vacation. This house is the perfect place to simply unwind or launch an outdoor adventure: we went kayaking nearby with a local outfitter and it was so easy to pop over to the creek and meet up. When we walked our dog we could hear ospreys calling overhead, and the Spanish moss in the trees was stunning. Friendly neighbors stopped to chat and introduced themselves and we love that welcoming atmosphere. With luck, we’ll be back again!
