We had to wear socks or shoes inside because our feet would be black from the floors. We had to wash our little one’s feet AFTER bath time again before bed just because of their feet being black from the floors even if it was a short time they played. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The house has a great layout. We always stay in this community for a reason! We love the ammentities of it plus the neighborhood. We love Coastal Joe and how they communicate and make things easy. We would stay here again, just need to do a little upgrade and mop the floors a little better.

Remotes for the ceiling fans need to be checked to see they are working or even need batteries. Washer and dryer needs to be leveled. Fixtures in the bathrooms upstairs need to be tightened up (towel rack, toilet paper holder).

Always love Cape San Blas. If looking for quiet unknown area to relax in then this is it. As far as the house it was very new. Very clean. Large rooms and had everything we needed. As others mentioned the kitchen could use more — only the bare necessities are there. We cook a lot on vacation so I could have used some serving dishes. There were none. More baking sheets/pans. Pitchers would be nice. Would also be nice if they supplied some beach chairs/wagon as the house is not directly on the beach. Not a long walk but supplying a wagon would really help. The good thing is I’m able to get picky and complain about these little picky things because the house was really nice. Location was great. Not a crowded beach area either. I rated the description accuracy as lower than 5 stars because the description indicated there is an elevator. There wasn’t an elevator. We had family that was coming with us so the elevator was a necessity. This person backed out at the last minute so it became a non issue but it would have been really bad had we relied on the description and then arrived to no elevator.

It was perfect for our family of 12 with space for everyone. The kitchen is perfect for preparing meals (although a bit sparse with cooking utensils) and there was enough space for us to gather and dine together. I highly recommend this property and hopefully we can stay again in the future!

We enjoyed the home and everything was as advertised! House was clean and we had plenty of room for family with 5 br. Kitchen was not as well stocked as we would have liked since dining options are few around this area. Also, it would be nice if propane tank was full for renters or maybe provide an extra. The places listed to get a filled tank were out for most of our stay so that was not ideal. We also would have loved to have a few extra towels and maybe a couple blankets for the beds. With a big group and a small washer, it was hard to keep towels washed up each day.

The baseboards contained some dust and the walls were pretty scuffed up in places. But, the overall cleanliness was satisfactory. The location was great! We did have to purchase a nozzle and hose to use on the outdoor water spicket for rinsing beach gear and sand from our feet. I noticed in an earlier review this was an issue previously that had not been addressed. The kitchen could be better stocked with basic cookware. The management company was accommodating and great to deal with. For the price, I would stay here again.
