Sky Valley Home w/ Mtn View, 5 Mi to Rabun Bald!

This is a very nice home and well maintained. With a beautiful clear view of the mountains from the huge deck. I do recommend renting this property.

We just returned from our third stay at this wonderful home, and we just love this place more every time! It has officially become our favorite home away from home. ?✨​This trip was all about slowing down and relaxing ?‍♀️. We spent most of our time cooking at home ?, and it was so easy because every single amenity we needed was already there! When the temperatures dropped ?️❄️, we sparked up the fireplace and stayed perfectly toasty. Also, a huge plus: we had zero problems with the TV, so movie nights were a breeze! ??​A few things we have to rave about:​The Comfort: The bed is beyond comfortable—we slept like babies! ??​The Shower: It is absolutely stunning and felt like a private spa. ?✨​The Scenery: The views here are always precious, but we actually got an inch of snow this time! ?️?️ It made the whole trip so magical and memorable. ☃️​We will absolutely be back! ?✨ If you’re looking for the perfect getaway, look no further. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First, the host went out of her way to make this a seamless experience. She was wonderful. The house lived up to the pictures! The views were amazing, and the house had everything we needed for both kids and an elderly grandparent. We couldn't recommend this house and host anymore.

Our second visit was even better than the first, with notable improvements everywhere!​The room was wonderfully appointed, featuring a cozy fireplace and a truly comfy bed. We loved the spacious bathroom with its huge shower and practical double sinks.​Best of all was the stunning view—the ultimate backdrop for enjoying the spectacular fall colors.​A special mention goes to Jody, the owner, who is simply very sweet and makes the stay even more welcoming. We can't wait to return!

Always a wonderful time in this beautiful mountain top home. The views are incredible and the host always ensures a great experience.

One word-Gorgeous!The view is ever changing and with each change more breathtaking. It’s incredible to be above the clouds.The primary bedroom suite is wonderful which includes not only the view but a huge walk-in shower as well as a Jacuzzi.The home is very spacious providing dining options with the view inside and outside on the covered porch.The hosts were lovely making certain in advance we were aware of all the features of the home. Perfect for a couples getaway or a girls weekend.

We had a group of friends traveling to a wedding in Highlands. It was perfect for our group of four. The views are so beautiful.

From the fabulous sunsets on the huge deck, the nicely furnished and super clean house we can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this peaceful getaway. Sky Valley is a great Community with great golf and pickleball but so convenient to all the surrounding quaint towns. We completely enjoyed exploring, hiking and shopping. If your travels include this area you’d have a hard time beating this place! Loved It! Trina & Tom

A fantastic experience all around! Jody was helpful, knowledgeable, and ensured that we had a lovely stay at this stunning property. As many have said, the view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking! Don't let the prospect of mountain roads intimidate you as it is well worth the drive. There is so much to do in the area as well! Whether you choose to retreat into Sky Valley for your stay or venture out into Clayton and beyond, you will not be disappointed. We will certainly be coming back again!

Jody provided. Great instructions with full support. The home offers great amenities with comforts in every room. Step out on the balcony and you have great views. Sunset is fantastic with serenity and quietness. Such a great experience.

Very comfortable and attractive house, plus what a lovely view of distant mountains and the valley 1300' below. Lots to do in the area - golf, some beautiful hikes, fun towns to explore. Even the weather was perfect! Thanks to Jody for thoughtful touches throughout the house and for her excellent communications. Must say, though, we are happy to leave those crazy, twisting mountain roads behind!!

We enjoyed a great week, beautiful mountain views, fun golf, house had all the comforts of home. Be prepared to drive up winding roads to reach your destination! The area is convenient to falls and hiking, flea markets on the weekends, fabulous fresh produce market with the best corn!
