Skagit River Farmhouse

There were plenty of plates and silverware. The cooking supplies were great. Very nice cookware. We enjoyed the back porches and the hot tub was large and wonderful.

Wow! What an amazing place. It was so clean and comfortable. It was well equipped and demonstrated thoughtful attention to needs of travelers. The property was beautiful and peaceful. The host is top notch and very responsive. Thank you for an incredible stay in beautiful Skagit Valley.

Loved our stay at the farmhouse. Just three of us, but kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms were exactly as advertised. Very nice property and great value for money.

Skagit River Farmhouse was the perfect place to celebrate my dads 60th birthday. The host was so friendly and accommodating. Plenty of space for those to travel to celebrate. House does carry noise throughout the whole house. Wasnt an issue just noticed. We had a great stay!

This was by far the best VRBO rental we have experienced (and we have been renting through them for over 20 years). The house was clean, spacious and well equipped. Access to the trail along the Skagit river was straight forward. Shopping was nearby in Mt. Vernon.A minor issue was getting the address and entry code etc. from VRBO. However, once they put us in contact with the host communication was excellent. We find the VRBO app to be difficult to use so relaying the necessary info via text message would be much better.

The perfect place to stay for a large group. The kitchen was awesome.We appreciated the friendliness of the host, and her quick response when we had a questions.We will definitely be staying here again!

Absolute Skagit Valley Gem! We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding at Santucci Farm just minutes away and we could not have had a better experience. From the booking to the checkout everything was easy and enjoyable. Julie is wonderful to work with. The home was beautiful, clean, spacious and very well appointed. It sits back on a beautiful country lot right off the river, very private and has lovely vistas and light from every window. Great location and easy to get to all the local attractions and activities Skagit has to offer, and there are a lot! The kitchen has everything you will need and very functional for a big gathering. Our groom was from The Shetland Isles and the Shetland pony next door was an unexpected surprise and fun to see. We could not have been happier, fabulous VRBO, we hope to return for another joyous occasion.

This house was 20-25 minutes from Anacortes where we went crabbing. Home was nice and would be great for families with children. We didn’t have any children and the rooms were interesting with some of us staying in twin beds. I would recommend for families. Julie (host) was very good at responding to us when we had questions.

This house was everything we needed and more. What a gorgeous place to relax and spend time with friends. It was large enough to sleep out 12 friends comfortably where everyone have their own space! When we needed something, the host was quick with a response and was so kind about everything! Recommend this stay in Mount Vernon and we will be back!!

Lovely farmhouse. Very relaxing and spacious. We enjoyed walking along the river and hanging out on the beautiful porch.

This was one of the nicest vacation rentals I have stayed in. The house was big and beautiful, the kitchen was a dream to cook a big meal in with a huge island, great pans, a chefs range and plenty of dishes. There were multiple sitting areas to hang out in, and beautiful views. The large lawn and wraparound porch were inviting for our playful group. Julie, our host, was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Everyone in our well-traveled group was impressed and would love to go back!

My family is spread out, from Alaska to Pennsylvania! The six of us gathered at this beautiful home for spring break. This home was above and beyond! Fully furnished, every kitchen item imaginable! Top of the line wolf stove and cookware. Plenty of room for everyone. Game room on the third floor. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The hosts were amazing and gave some great suggestions on seafood and local attractions. We WILL be back!

This place was perfect for us! We loved being in the country and not having people right on top of us. We walked the levee and watched geese fly overhead. Sat out on the patio deck one mid-morning afternoon and it was beautiful. The house was perfect for our group!

12 of us stayed at the property for the Thanksgiving long weekend. The property was amazing. Everything was clean, ready to use, and we'll stocked. Location is great with access to everything you could need within a 5-10 min drive max. 10/10 would book here again anytime.

This was our third consecutive year we had our annual family vacation at the Skagit River Farmhouse. Each year we consider trying a new place for our family vacation, but we keep coming back here because of the cleanliness, large dining/kitchen spaces, variety of bedroom/sleeping arrangements, and overall house upkeep. Very clean. Nice home furnishings and decor. Well-stocked. Three separate common/lounging areas to use when people want their own space. And very nice and responsive owners/managers on top of it all. It is three stories, so climbing stairs is required to access second floor bedrooms or third floor lounging/gaming room. But overall an excellent space allowing for lots of family fun.

Amazing home, close proximity to our son’s wedding venue! Extremely clean, very comfortable and has every amenity you could ever need. Fantastic property owners that ensure your stay is absolutely perfect!! Will definitely stay there again in the future.

The house was beautiful, both inside and out. We loved that it was so spacious… so many beds and rooms available for our three families (6 adults and 6 kids). The kitchen was fully stocked - think high-end appliances, Hexclad pots and pans, kids and adult dishware and cutlery, coffee maker AND ground coffee - and it felt like home. We really appreciated the central air conditioning, play room with games and books on the 3rd floor, and hot tub (with extra towels). Julie was quick to reply to our questions at all times of the day, and we even got to meet her and her husband in person. They were very kind, helpful with suggestions/recommendations, and quick to ensure we had no concerns at all. Overall we had a wonderful stay and made many memories with our friends. This home is close to the Skagit River (one friend enjoyed early morning runs along the river trail), as well as Costco and Target (about 10-15 mins away). We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

We loved our stay in this beautiful home! It was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host went out of her way to make sure we had all of the information we needed for a smooth check in. I highly recommend staying here if you’re in Mt. Vernon!

I travel with a group of adult women, and we have book reading staycations. Julie's home was pretty much everything we'd hoped it would be. The location is lovely, the check-in process and communication with the owner was a dream. Property instructions and check-out procedures were also great! The kitchen is spacious and well stocked, the downstairs bedroom needs some light-blocking curtains. The primary on the second floor is spacious and the bathroom is huge, it's only a little strange that there's not a King bed in there instead of a Queen. The other Queen room on the second floor and the bathroom were great. The third bedroom on the second floor was pictured to have a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a twin on top, but instead had two twins, which was a little bit of a disappointment. The living room area on the second floor is super comfy, it only needs a few more side tables for beverages when you're tucked in to read or watch movies. The third floor space is HUGE and comfy. Outdoor spaces were lovely and kept clean. The hot tub was a hit. Overall, it was a really lovely 3-night staycation weekend.
