Everything was great.very clean

Everything was fine. It was an okay stay , I just feel like this is more of a summer house, can’t use half the house when it’s cold out.

The only complaint that we had was the lack of knowledge about the steep stairs to the entrance of the home. Everything else was great and exactly as advertised.

Great location and nice set up. Would be perfect for a family with young children. Only rated it 4 stars due to lack of communication on the checkout process and the bed was not the most comfortable.

Kitchen is newly updated with all the gadgets you need! Plenty of space inside to unwind after fishing, kayaking and having a bonfire or two. This is a very clean home with a gorgeous view both morning and evening!

We loved the house and the view. I didn’t really know what to expect, but I thought it said that it was 8 minutes from the beach. We still had a great time. The dishwasher would not work, but the kitchen was beautiful. I loved that you left us laundry pods and wood for a fire.

Everything was perfectly clean, organized and exactly how pictures described. We were so happy with our stay. We had a wedding in town, this location was 5 min away. It was a quick 2 night stay but perfect for what we needed. We def would stay again. Thank you!!

Great view, loved that there were kayaks available. Great neighbors, nice little lake to paddle around on. Short trip to St. Joe and South Haven.

Overall, our stay was nice and relaxing. Kitchen is nice and updated and fairly well stocked. It was great having the lake right out the backdoor. Mattresses were also very comfortable-not old and lumpy. Also really liked having a gas grill available to use. I would have given 5 stars had the grill been clean (we had to empty the grease bucket because it was overflowing and clean the tray) and had the bedroom and bathroom doors not squeaked very loudly everytime they were used (a little sanding will help that so much).

We had a wonderful family getaway at this beautiful lakefront home. The setting is peaceful and relaxing, with a quiet lake perfect for unwinding. The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and had thoughtful updates that made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything felt well cared for and inviting. A perfect spot to slow down, spend quality time together, and create great memories.

Asked what was the earliest we could check in so that we could get to the beach because it was the only day it wasn't going to rain (which was the whole purpose of our getaway) and the reply was 3pm. I thought that was pretty inconsiderate response since no one had stayed in the house prior to us that week and spending 1400 for two nights, a little grace would have gone a long way. Wasn't told there was a steep metal staircase to go down to get to the entrance. If you have any sort of medical issue or elderly, this is not the place for you. Getting a stocked large cooler into the house was a real challenge. It's on a well so bring your own water. The house itself was nice and clean and we enjoyed that aspect. Bring your own fishing poles and tackle box if that's your thing. The ones provided were not great. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but probably won't be back. The lack of consideration for the money I spent left a bad taste in my mouth

We loved our stay at the “lake house”! It was a perfect location and offered us the ability to enjoy the quiet lake but also close enough to get into town and Lake Michigan. The kitchen was beautifully updated and had a gorgeous view of the lake from the big windows. My kids loved fishing off the dock and finding little turtles. We will definitely be back again!

Overall it was a great rental. The back room with the bunkbeds for the kids allowed the adults to put them to bed and still continue to enjoy the evening. The kitchen was spacious and great to cook for the group.

Great place for a visit to SW Michigan! The lake is beautiful and the house was really comfortable. Perfect place for myself, my son, and our dog. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful three-day getaway at this cozy lake house. The place was relaxing, with beautiful views that made our stay even more enjoyable. It was the perfect spot to unwind with our family and dogs. We truly had a great time and would love to come back!

This house gives a Great Lake experience. It was snowy so our use was limited but the views were great!Kitchen is beautiful!

We rented this house for a girls weekend and it was perfect! The kitchen was beautiful and great for socializing while snacking. The living room was so cozy and the view of the lake from that area was the best. The host was very accommodating and flexible with our checking and departure times! We are already planning our next trip back!

The lake house was a great place for us to come back at the end of a day of exploring and hiking nearby. We had our dog along, and it was perfect for him to have an area to be outdoors off leash. The neighbor dog comes and visits as well, but is very friendly. The VRBO owner made us aware there were other dogs in the area before we booked, knowing we were bringing our dog as well. Beautiful view! Enjoyed soaking up the sun on the deck and enjoying the lake view.

We really enjoyed our stay. View was beautiful. The only thing was the steep stairway going into the house. We are handicapped and this was extremely difficult getting our groceries and luggage in the house..

Weekend with some important women in my life. Enjoyed kayaking, campfire, the proximity to several great wineries and to Lake Michigan and St. Joe’s.

Property was amazing.

Overall enjoyed the stay property is clean and we enjoyed our visit. The grill area needs some work and grill did not work even after we bought new propane tank. Everything else was great!

The cabin really is right on the lake. With a grill and a fire pit we didn’t leave the house the whole weekend. The beds were comfortable and the open concept kitchen was great. State parks and towns to see are close by.

Overall great place to stay. Good location for a home base for Michigan fun. Nice kitchen. Great space for the 4 of us. Bathroom could use an updaye but functions well. Love waking up on a lake. And it was nice to jabe the kayaks. Great communication from owner.

Our family and a few friends enjoyed our stay here while exploring Saint Joseph and Silver Beach before our kiddos head off to Kindergarten. The house was cozy, clean and quiet. There were lots of orchards, breweries and wineries close by, as well as the beauty of Lake Michigan! We would love to make this a yearly stay!
