Relaxing, low key family getaway! Ocean views were spectacular

The online description and the price paid for a one week stay (over 10K) did not reflect the actual condition of the property which was tired. Worn furniture and carpeting was below expectations: outdoor furniture stained and soiled; we could not sit on porch off the master bedrooms because the furniture was covered mildew. Also kitchen dishes and pots and glassware were old and stained; drawers dirty cupboards also dirty. Pillows on beds were ancient , and some beds had pillows that should be thrown away. Decks and stairways need cleaning and painting. So-called patio beneath home needed sweeping; grills were old and dirty. No chairs or beach toys beneath stairs as described in listing. Windows filthy, and some screens torn. Outdoor trash bins are so dirty you have to hold your breath when you open them. On the positive side issues with air conditioning and a broken outdoor stair way handrail were addressed effectively by VRBO HOST, Harley. He was polite and helpful at all times. I’m not sure when he actually saw this homeIf I had not brought my son’s family with me I would not have stayed the week. As it was we departed a day early. Overall it was a one - star property.

The location was perfect. Having said that, the house needs some serious attention. The outdoor railing and decking and steps need cleaned and painted if not replaced. The interior furniture is the most uncomfortable beds and living room furniture we have ever encountered. The entire house needs a SERIOUS update.

This house was perfect for our family! We loved how close we were to the pool and the beach. The house was clean, well stocked, and seemed well maintained. Thank you for a great stay!

So this place was perfect for what we needed to have a little family vacation and enjoy Myrtle Beach bike week. It was close enough to everything we needed. It’s centrally located and you stay out of the chaos to enjoy a nice relaxing. Vacation property was perfect for two SUVs and six motorcycle motorcycles to fit in the driveway. Beautiful views of the ocean and close to the stairs and the pool! The house itself was in great condition and clean! The linen service was a plus because most places you have to order it, and this was included! Great stay! Enjoy!

Location perfect overlooking ocean! Furniture is dated; 1 set bunk beds upstairs not sturdy and shakes..not safe to sleep top bunk. Back bedrooms have blinds, but no curtains and lighting from pool deck is a nuisance at night.

Great experience with great location. Only critique is I wish the beach chairs/toys were better.

The house is very nice with plenty of sleeping space, seating, and hanging out space! Our favourites include the balconies with clear views of the ocean & pool. The kids loved the pool!!

Sirens Song was the perfect location for a beach vacation. Over looking the pool & only steps to the beach access were the ideal set up for traveling with a 4 year old. No lugging beach chairs long distances to the beach & back, and the pool was the perfect spot to end the day. The property is well maintained & clean. We opted to do the linen delivery service offered & it was a very easy process. The beds are very firm - just a heads up; comfortable but firm. The host was quick to respond when we needed assistance with the fridge on our second day. The view from either patio was beautiful. As a travel heads up - you can’t have anything other than an umbrella on the beach (no tents of any kind) - the host provided a rental company for us (Woody’s) and they were great too! They got us two umbrellas for the week & dropped them off & picked them up at the airport be of ours stay. Great place, great vacation!
