The house was beautiful! Way better than the pictures! We enjoyed our stay so much! Only downfall was some of the amenities not working. Especially for the one shower. But still was a wonderful time! Thanks again!

Great place with everything we needed for our stay!

This house was exactly what 8 guys needed. The grounds were very nice. The inside of the house is absolutely awesome. They had a welcome bag with a bottle of wine. Kitchen was perfect, basement was great. We didn’t have great weather so we were able to play pool. Firewood was plentiful. Out of all the houses we have been to through our 30 years this one was by far the best. The only negative about the house is that the grill was a little on the older side and needs some TLC.

Nice property. Should definitely talk to their cleaning company though.

The home was very nice. We appreciate how clean it was kept and compliment the owners for such a nice, neat and comfortable place to stay. We were very grateful as we could relax between the times we needed to be at the wedding events we were there to participate in. My only disappointment was with the check in process. I could not find the email that contained the code for the home entrance. I know that text/messaging is a poor medium to communicate tone but it was clear that when we asked the owner for help that she was frustrated with our request. Anyway, I was looking in VRBO for the messages and emails that communicated this and after the fact I found that it did not come to us via VRBO but rather through Chicago Point Rental. It was my fault that I did not remember this different email and suggest that in the future to prevent this from happening again if a reservation is made through VRBO the communications should come from VRBO. Because of the owners frustration due to my bad memory I was made to feel less than welcome from the beginning. It would have been easier for the response to be more like I am sorry that you are having difficulties with this. The code is 6476. Please enjoy your stay. instead of, what felt like a lecture I received about having already been given the code in a previous email.

This was our 20th annual family Christmas getaway. We have stayed at condo complexes, hotel suites and other VRBO homes over the years but this by far was the nicest. There were 4 adults, one senior and 2 college kids. The house was absolutely beautiful. It was super clean and organized. They provided all the basics that we would need (soaps, towels, dishrags and towels, soft blankets, pillows and bedding). Between the living room, music room, bonus room and the downstair theater seating area, pool table and game table area we all had space to hang out together or find our own area to chill. We had some fun pool table competitions, raced Mario Kart on the 85 TV, played games on the large dining room table and did some reading and visiting on the comfortable furniture in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking dishes, cooking utensils and glassware. We were given pictures of the all the cupboards and drawers to know ahead of time what was available. We always do all the cooking for our getaway from big brunches to really nice dinners. In the past we have had to bring a lot of our own things in order to make our big family meals but not this year. There were enough bedrooms and beds for everyone to have their space. The mattresses on the beds were very comfortable according to everyone. And more bathrooms than we have ever had before with lots of hot water. Will definitely think about this place again for next year.

Nice home, comfy beds and plenty of space. We enjoyed our time here, found it to be very relaxing and a quiet time of the year (late October). Unfortunately it was too rainy and cold to use the patio.

If you want a beautiful, spacious, immaculate home to stay at look no further. There is room for everyone with everything you need to bond with your family, relax, and enjoy the lake. Our host were accommodating and welcoming making our stay there with family coming in from all over a breeze. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again.
