Silver Lake Retreat - Beach Access + Dunes

We greatly enjoyed our stay here over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Will stay again!

It was very clean and cozy! The kitchen was very modern. We loved it so much we want to come back again sometime!

We come to the dunes multiple times a year and this was our favorite place to stay so far!!!

We had a great time staying in “Our Neck of the Woods!” The house was perfect for our family! The beds were really comfortable, the shower is amazing. The layout of the house made it feel much bigger than it was! We enjoyed the out door seating and picnic tables in the evenings. The whole family loved the fire ring! We can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We loved the proximity to the beach and enjoyed riding our bikes down each day. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The host was great with communication as well. Definitely recommend!

It was a beautiful house and we loved the Silver Lake and Pentwater areas. So many fun things to do and the house had everything we needed and more

We enjoyed the home in Mears. Since we only stayed two nights we couldn’t do everything we saw that there is to do in the area, we did have a great time. The home had everything we wanted during our stay. We would definitely come back again.

Wonderful weather and VERY CLEAN and beautiful “Our Neck of the Woods ” property set the tone for an excellent vacation. Everything was clean and well maintained and “as stated” in the property description. Our host was very attentive and answered any questions that we had. I would highly recommend this property for a Lake Michigan getaway!

very nice house, very updated. you do have to drive to things but no more than 15 minutes Owner great to work with only thing I would change is master bedroom mattress

This gem of a property was even bigger than it looked online. Extremely clean and well appointed home with everything you need and then some. It was also nice to be so close to the dunes area and the sunset at the county park is something you don't want to miss. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to the area.

3rd time staying here. Love the location for half the family to go to dunes, the other half across the road to lake mi beach. Love the big back deck for morning coffee or afternoon cocktail and reading. Love the firepit and walking around neighborhood.

Nice property with anything you need while on vacation. Love the location and the “extras” you don’t normally see in a rental. Will return.

We came to Michigan for a family vacation. We played disc golf, putt putt, and went to the amusement park. Getting to walk in the sand right along Lake Michigan was a plus! Our place was perfect! We were so close to everything we wanted to see. We all slept great and loved that we felt secluded. I would definitely come back to Mears and would stay at this beautiful home again. Thanks for hosting us!

We enjoyed a quick trip in Mears! The property was as listed and 100% clean! We had a fire both nights and the pleasant wooded atmosphere!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Easy to communicate with owner. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Home had everything we needed for a great stay.

The house was perfect. We had everything we needed save a small baking pan. Everything was thoughtfully laid out and easy to find. Waking up each morning with a view of the trees was wonderful. The washer and dryer were great after a day at the beach and the kitchen was a joy to cook in. The grill on the patio was a great bonus as was the patio itself.

Perfect get away. Nice short walk to the beach. Stairs to the beach can be difficult for older folks but we had no issues.
