Silver Lake Escape!!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Silver Lake Escape. The cottage was clean and the size was as advertised. The extra swim area with new dock and swim platform made the trip. Great sand and crystal clear water!! John was pleasure to interact with. Would not hesitate to book again. Thanks again John.

Although we had to visit the lake under sad circumstances, as we had a death in the family, the accommodations were just fine. Lovely location and good communication with the property manager. Only comment is that the stairs going down to the lake need a good power washing very slippery and it was raining most of the time we were there.

This was my family's second visit. We enjoyed it just as much as the previous time and maybe more, as there were some upgrades to the property. Clean house - older but well kept. Situated nicely within in a bay with calm waters - great for kayaking and fishing, but not swimming. However, there is a great swimming area that you can use on another property owned by the same host. Great communication with owner, who is very nice and accommodating.

John was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Cottage was clean and well stocked with all we needed for our stay. Water was great and whole family swam every day.

The house is older but very well kept, clean, and comfortable. It faces the lake and sits on a bay that is well protected from the wind that can make the rest of the lake rough and hard to navigate. The bay is particularly nice because house comes with a canoe, kayak, and peddle-boat. The calm waters allowed me to safely take my kids (2 and 7) on these boats, and they loved the experience. Fishing of the dock was also; lots of fish. The house is also conveniently close to a supermarket, so that you don't need to bring a lot of supplies. One important thing to note is that the house doesn't come with linens and towels; you have to bring your own. We almost missed that detail and would hate for anybody to arrive not bringing these items. John, the owner, is super nice and very responsive and helpful. Our family of four had a great time and would definitely recommend this place.

Our Silver Lake Escape was absolutely perfect! This was a last minute getaway and John was so accommodating with some requests we had! The location on the lake is perfect and quiet yet so close to the wonderful restaurants Wautoma has to offer. We were able to take advantage of the water toys that were included with our stay . The lake home was clean and comfortable. The views were spectacular! We enjoyed playing games out on the on the party bar. We loved sitting by the fire pit by the lake with firewood supplied. It overall was an excellent last minute getaway! Thank you, John, for sharing your beautiful lake home with us!

The prime lake location is perfect for so many family outdoor activities. Nature provides the lake and beauty. The host provides a canoe, kayak, paddle boat, fishing pier, fire pit, as well as additional lake access just a path down from the cabin. The cabin is smaller yet cozy and comfortable.
