Stayed Jun 28, 2025My family has frequented Edisto since my husband was a small child. Needless to say, they have stayed at several homes on the island. This home was perfect for our family vacation. We had ages from 3-80 and all enjoyed what the home offered. There was enough space for each family unit and great community areas. The outdoor space was wonderful and the kids loved hanging out, relaxing on the swings, and playing darts. Having the option available to rent the golf cart was a vacation changer!!!! We all agreed that is a much needed addition to our beach stay for any future trips. The owners were great to work with and we never had any issues. The home was close to both the beach access and a 4 minute golf cart ride for our nightly ice cream. I would highly recommend this home!

Stayed May 20, 2025We loved our stay at Ship Happens! Proximity to the beach and shops/food made everything super easy for our big crowd, and the house was awesome. Lots of outdoor space and all the comforts of home. The hosts were super accommodating and awesome to work with — even the pup had a great time. We will definitely be back!
