Other things to note:
ROAD AND VEHICLE: While the cabin is accessible for a normal car, we HIGHLY recommend a higher clearance vehicle like an SUV. Subaru's and RAV4's are common, but many other vehicles are also on the mountain. We offer an SUV (free of charge) to guests who prefer to use it for the final mile to the cabin.
SHEETS/TOWELS: Neither sheets nor towels are provided but there are plenty of blankets, comforters & pillows at the cabin. We use a linen service for those who need sheet and/or towels and simply pass the cost to you for an additional fee. Most guest simply bring their own.
PETS: Pets are welcome (there is a pet fee). There is a pet disclaimer, so please review policies regarding pets under the House Rules.
AMENITY USE: We work hard to keep everything fully operational, but occasionally appliances & equipment such as dishwashers & hot tubs, etc can malfunction. We will service & restore these amenities as quickly as we can, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items. Please follow all guidelines & policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning properly.
BOOKING MINIMUM: 3 night minimum to book all holidays, 2 night minimum for all non-holiday dates.
Everything was great here. Clean, comfy and nicely decorated. The lit Christmas tree and Christmas music playing on the TV when we arrived was such a nice touch! Excellent view, clean and well functioning hot tub, with a comfortable bed and living area. Road was not as difficult as some had noted. Would like to come back in the summer!
Wonderful cabin with a gorgeous view. Second time at property and look forward to going back.
Wonderful brand new house with a great deck and great views. Time on the deck would have been much better if there were a couple of chaise lounge chairs to relax and soak up the sun. Also, it was understood to bring your own sheets/towels but with no access to a washer/dryer on the property i was stuck with unwashed dollar general sheets/towels. Other than that a very fun property...from driving up there to walking to see if the waterfall was flowing. A definite fun adventure!
The cabin is super nice with beautiful scenery and sunsets right off the back deck!!!! The host was Great!!!!!!!! Highly recommend!! Totally Worth the trip up!!!
We spent 6 nights at the end of May. Communication with the owner was great - very clear and informative and quick to respond. The last mile to the property is difficult, a mountain road, best traveled when it’s light out, but the view from the property is worth the drive. The place itself is very comfortable. Big TV, hot tub, comfy couches and beds, nice cooking area, great places for games. Most of our time at the cabin was spent on the deck. Close enough to touristy areas that there’s plenty to do, but relaxing place to stay if you want to just veg for a few days.
Would definitely stay here again. Close to skyline drive and tons of hiking trails
