Stayed Dec 23, 2025Home was located in a great spot, close to everything. Home was relaxing and spacious. Outdoor space was great and quiet to relax.

Stayed Nov 3, 2025Outdoor area not maintained. Adirondok Chairs broken. Wicker furniture outside moldy and dirty. Had to get key to golf cart in a dirty nasty room under the house that had a basket of laundry covered in bugs. Seemed to have been there a very long time. The back porch has boards that are not secured. The walls inside the house are extremely thin. All 3 bedrooms are in one end of the house and you can hear the slightest noise from any bedroom. Our mattress pad had urine stains on it. The inside of the house is not dirty, but is very musty smelling. The bathrooms were very nice. At checkout we realized there were no dishwasher tabs. Kitchen was very well stocked and maintained otherwise. Take your own dishwashing rag. Golf cart was very nice and promptly returned my deposit.

Stayed Jul 1, 2025Great location easy access to the beach and close enough to ride the LSV to the store or marina!! House was clean with lots of activities including outdoor entertainment center with TV and fire pit.

Stayed Mar 29, 2025This was a great first stay at Edisto for my family. We vacation at the coast a couple of times a year and usually stay oceanfront. We chose Shell Shocked because it looked inviting and relaxing. The outdoor amenities were a great addition and the home was very pleasant. The ease of having the golf cart available made it seem like we were seconds away from the ocean. However, we walked to the beach a few times and it’s such an easy walk. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Stayed Jul 25, 2024Wish more places were like this. This is true Edisto, feels like a beach house is supposed to. Takes me back to what coming to Edisto as a kid was! Not far from the beach at all, Golf cart is awesome, Bluetooth speaker in the golfcart is super fun. 100% would stay again.
