The house was built in 2018. It is very modern and open. It is located 8 minutes from Minnewaska State Park, 10 minutes from the Mohonk Preserve, and 30 minutes from the Catskills. There is a TV with an Amazon Fire Stick connected to it at the house, which has cable and Hulu. There is also a record player with a large record selection. There is strong WIFI and great cell phone coverage from all carriers.

Spacious interior, comfortably and beautifully furnished, very well equipped modern kitchen (with dishwasher..) and bathroom, very comfortable beds and seating, plenty of clean linens. And this house is much more spacious than it seems in the displayed photo. Highly recommended, with thanks to the owners.

Stayed Jul 16, 2025Great place and had everything we needed. Trustable WiFi, working AC, quiet and peace to enjoy nature and the stars. No issues with cleanliness and accessibility. Great place to stay if your a day hiker and want to check out the surrounding trails.

Stayed Jul 3, 2024Matthew's place was perfect for a few days getaway with a friend. He was extremely reponsive, the place was as pictured, it was very comfortable, and good value for the price. It had everything we needed to serve as our basecamp to explore Minnewaska State Park and poke around New Paltz and other nearby towns. Check-out was very easy, there wasn't much we had to do. If I had any questions, Matt replied in minutes. I love this part of NY and would stay in Matthew's place again.
