Shangri-La on Lake Superior - Incredible Lake Views, Pure White Sand Beach

Excellent communications. Beautiful cottage on magnificent Lake Superior!

This was our second time staying at Shangri-La. We love the location and the view from the house. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed turning on the gas fireplace when we returned from our daily adventure; it was so cozy. The king bed is comfortable.

Great place for the family. Peaceful, beautiful view of the lake and close to town. Kitchen fully stock with all your needs. Plenty of room for us to spread out from each within the house.

This cottage on Lake Superior met our needs. It provided enough beds for the 5 of us and access out the door to the beach. The kids loved swimming and digging in the sand. The sunrises and sunsets over the lake were phenomenal. The property manager was quick to reply to our inquiries. Lakenland, down the road is a must for visitors to the area.

Beautiful home with thoughtful decor in a picturesque setting - just as advertised. The home's description and photos are spot-on. The sunsets were amazing and the morning walks on the beach were peaceful. Can't wait to return to Shangri-La again.

We had a wonderful stay. So close to the beach and the house was equipped with anything you may need to make your stay comfortable. The biting flies were bad about 1 1/2 days we were there but that is no fault to the owners:) The beach is a little piece of heaven on earth

This property was everything we needed and wanted. Wonderful views from any window, and we loved having the beach so close.

This cabin was perfect. The views are stunning. The beach is amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked. It felt like home not just a rental. It was decorated so cute. There is wood already cut if you want a beach fire. The location is perfectly between Marquette and Munising making for easy day trips. Definitely want to come back and was sad to leave. My husband and I both even braved the 42 degree Lake Superior it was only for about a minute but worth it.

Very relaxing place. Easy access to amazing beach. Perfect location to explore the area. House had a great vibe, with space for everyone. Nice amenities and little extras. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to experience the stunning beauty lake Superior.

My wife and I completly enjoyed our stay. The place meet all of our expectations. We took in alot of the local places and had fun meeting the locals. Then we took time to relax and take in the great veiws in the cabin or on the beach. ISI strongly recommend

We keep coming back. As any homeowner knows, stuff happens and the response from the owner and team is what makes the difference. Scott and his local problem solver, Kim, saved the day and turned a potential disaster into a minor inconvenience. So aside from the spectacular location and well equipped home, we’ll be back, again.

fabulous vacation with a view that was breathtaking. absolutely enjoyed ourselves while listening the waves of lake superior. She showed her strength many times over and it was beautiful to watch. Thank you so much for your house to enjoy in. We were able to watch the olympics and enjoy ourselves with a nice cocktail. my son felt very comfortable being here and enjoyed himself exploring the beach and surrounding areas. amenities fully stocked and plenty of space in the kitchen. lots of extra blankets and towels for the beach and bathroom. plenty of beach chairs down the beach and extras up above in the house.

We loved our time at this cabin. It's perfect for our family of four and a grandma and grandpa. The amenities are just what we need, the lake is just a set of stairs away, town is only 15 minutes away, and there's a Meijer within 20 minutes. A great home base for exploring the upper peninsula.

I fell in love with this home. It was so beautiful inside with all the wood. The views from any room in the house are awesome but especially the rooms facing the lake ❤️ I cannot thank Mr. English enough for sharing his home with my family and I.

Shangri-La did not disappoint! The home was a great base for all of our UP adventures. It is the best stocked home we have rented yet! Beautiful views and the beach is fantastic. Scott was very responsive to questions. We had a wonderful stay and would happily do so again. Highly recommend!

Property easy to find, 5 minutes from groceries, easy and safe access to the beach. All our needs in the house were anticipated, were able to quickly settle in with no difficulties. 10 minutes from Marquette, yet beautiful sunrise / sunset views of Marquette and Superior. Really had the feel of a remote, scenic, cabin in the woods but with all the comforts of home. House instructions very simple and clear, no confusion or uncertainties. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay! Thank you for the use of your home!
