Beautiful historic home with modern amenities! Welcoming, spacious and comfortable. Easy to communicate with hosts. Would definitely stay here again
Our 2nd stay at Hewitt Onion Tower and already reserved it again for next year. This is our annual treat to ourselves for working so hard all year. Wendy is an amazing host and this home is hands down the best in town and the location is unmatched. Highly recommend.
We have stayed here a number of times…always a very nice experience. Wendy is a superb hostess!
The home was beautiful-even better than the pictures represented. It's location is perfect with easy access to quaint Third Street and downtown, but also close to the beach! We had a wonderful stay with great recommendations of best places to eat and have fun! Thanks to the host for their friendliness and beautiful home!
If you have an opportunity to stay at Hewitt Onion Tower don’t hesitate. Kudos to the hosts for opening up this special & historic home
We had a great time. The house is beautiful and well equipped. The excursions my family took were fun and the scenery beautiful. Wendy was always prompt to reply if we had a question. She greeted us in person when we arrived and it was a treat to actually meet her. I would highly recommend this home in Marquette. Kay Letourneau
Sauna, marble kitchen, dining space, fireplace, tv with Netflix, comfy beds, super clean, giant claw tub, history, details…. And it was family friendly! Perfect location downtown close to everything. 10/10 recommend.
House perfect for family gatherings of various age groups. Well supplied. Fast response from owners to questions or problems. Location couldn’t have been better- could walk to harbor & short drives for a myriad of hikes & skiing. We would come again???
I rented this house to host thanksgiving for about 15 people. It worked out perfectly. The kitchen was perfect for hosting a large party and there were plenty of tables throughout the first floor. My family really enjoyed everything about the house. It has tons of character and felt very cozy. The attention to detail in the house is way beyond any other home I’ve ever rented. There are very thoughtful instructions situated throughout the house explaining how to use alexa, operate tvs, work the locks on the old doors, etc. The basement is also great… it’s separated from the rest of the house, so our in-laws stayed down there. It has a sauna and workout room and easy access to the outside. I would love to return in the summer with a large group.
This home was above and beyond our expectations. Location is perfect and inside has a number of great gathering spaces. The attention to the home's history is second to none and the hosts are wonderful as well. This will be our new go-to when in Marquette.
This property was amazing. Close to all things. We hiked and explored everyday. Wendy was so helpful. The towels, the beds, the amenities all were great. Thank you, Jennifer Armstrong
