Shack by the Sea Middleton

Had a wonderful stay at The Shack. The house was a few minutes walk to the beach, spotlessly clean, modern and very quiet. The hosts had provided all you could need for a beach stay, the kitchen was well equipped, plenty of books and games available and lovely comfortable beds. Would thoroughly recommend

A return visit for us and we will be back. The place has had a refresh since our last visit and it both looks great and works well. While the rooms are on the small side, it is one of the best equipped places we have stayed in. Lovely outdoor spaces and a great location 3 min walk from a magnificent beach. Great response from owners when we had a plumbing issue on New Year's Eve - they organised for it to be fixed within the hour.

We had a great stay. We loved the shack the beds were comfortable, the kids loved their bunk beds and room, it's in a great location, lots of board games and movies to pick from for the kids and adults. The outdoor seating was great and a nice spot to sit outside and relaxe.Clean and tidy. It was absolutely perfect. The host even put a Christmas tree up which was a great touch thank you Sue and partner you habe a great little shack

The shack was wonderful for a nice little get away down. The beach was literally a small walk across the road. I would definitely stay here again. The place was very clean. Smelt of fresh paint and a lot of the things like kitchenware are new. Appreciated the detailed information by the hosts and a pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

Had a fantastic time at the house, its very family friendly, would be great if the decking had fencing for the little ones but overall would definitely stay again. The location is great and a very quiet neighbourhood, only a short walk to a wonderful beach.

We had a lovely stay at Middleton, location was excellent as only short walk to beach. Everything provided for a short break. We will be back to this house again.

Lovely space - moments from the beach!

The most lovely and quirky cottage filled with warmth and creature comforts. So close to the beach and excellent value. We will definitely be coming back.

Great relaxing stay by the beach at this beachside shack for a short getaway and the weather was fantastic for it too which meant great afternoons on the back deck in the sun.Close walk to the beach Appreciated the owners consideration of allowing us to stay with our elderly trained dog that didn’t quite meet the listed requirements Will definitely stay here again as the shack had everything one needs as does the Main Street and also close driving distance to Victor Harbour and Goolwa.

To be honest, we were quite disappointed when we arrived. We were expecting something more comfortable. There is no proper indoor lounge area where you can spread out and relax. The queen size beds are too big for the rooms they are in. It felt pokey and cluttered with family books, magazines and games. That said, it was very clean. The hot water was excellent, the bed we used was comfortable, and all the basic amenities worked well. The washing machine was easy to use. The position is great, being so close to the beach.

Well equipped small home with lovely backyard spaces with back deck which has good outdoor furniture.Close to the beach and good value for this area. Excellent communication/information from owner.Rooms are small so we used third bedroom for our luggage. We would happily stay again.

Property was clean, nice touch with Xmas tree, no WiFi unfortunately. It would have been nice to know about having to hire sheets and towels otherwise it suited our needs for the visit.

Loved the house and the location

Relaxing, comfortable and uncomplicated shack in a fantastic location.

First impresseion was the house was very cute! We found we had everything available to make meals, relax and unwind. The backyard was set up beautifully and attracted a great variety of birdlife which was a pleasant surprise
