Seventh Wave is the best wave!

Very cool house with lots of quirks. If you like being right next to crashing waves this is the place. Very relaxing deck. Needs to have shades on upper windows at sunset time, XD player did not work and no TVs in the rooms like the description. All in all a good trip for relaxing and enjoying family

Large fenced backyard for dogs. Easy access to Trail 804. Amazing sea views, Walking distance to Yachats cafes, gift shops. Easy parking next to house.Suggest upgrade on bed linens. Towels were top quality. Keurig coffee maker, but no pods.Drip coffee pot but no filters or starter kit coffee grounds. Five forks. Rusty spatula on outside grill. Deck furniture need’s replacing.Did not use downstairs much as the views were upstairs.There was mention of bringing firewood but unclear as to where to use it. No fire pit, fireplace or stove. As native Oregonians we are used to rustic, but would encourage furniture upgrades.

Worked great for our family. Responsive to request. A bit funky but fine for us. Great tide pool and park access. Walkable to downtown. Would stay again. We all loved the reading nook

The location is excellent with trails right behind the house to all the cool shops in town. The view of the ocean is amazing and there are tide pools right there. Dog friendly was a major plus! The house is a little funky but very comfortable. Look forward to staying there again!

The house is very unique! At times we felt like fish in a bowl because there are no window coverings in the main living aresa and a major walk area goes directly in front.

There are definitely pros to the house, we like the ocean view, the idea of an outdoor space with an ocean view, it’s kind of unique and Yachats is a fun little town with a community feel. The cons this time were maybe outweighing the pros. The house and especially the deck need work. One of the large glass deck windows looked like it could just fall out. The deck was dirty, the ocean view windows were dirty, the chairs were broken, the bbq and tools are in bad condition. We had to clean and sweep. I really wish houses would furnish a few basic cleaning supplies. There were broken glass string lights with a burnt plug strung across the deck. We rented the house for the view I just wish we could have enjoyed it more. The outside needs some cleaning and repair. Also the “new” couches downstairs are pretty uncomfortable. I did reach out to management about garbage day and never got an answer to my question.

We've stayed here in the past and love it, however, it had been a while and it definitely needs some TLC, dead bolt completely rusted, dishwasher inside was not so great, and no instructions about the heat, very different temperatures in different rooms. Hope some things get repaired as we would love to come back. Thank you,

An amazing winter coastal stay. The wind protection allowed us to be outside but still comfortable. AWESOME!

Furry family included make it perfect. The fenced area in the back yard sure is handy for the dogs quick outdoor needs. The house is eclectic and fun!! The view is spectacular. The Fireplace is a must and so cozy. I wish I had brought some christmas lights along to festive up the outdoor patio. Although the weather was mostly rainy, we had a great time, made use of the excellent home theater space and the nice kitchen table for board games. Everyone had a beautiful Christmas. Beautiful house with nice separation of space, stocked kitchen, and ocean views that can't be beat! Easy walk into town, would love to stay here again.

Mostly clean. Mold in upstairs bdrm shower. Two lights upstairs broken. Both tv’s were not connected and no directions on how to use the Roku tv. Sink in downstairs bathroom drained very slowly-we fixed it. No hair dryers. However location and views were amazing. Screens and blinds are needed upstairs. Blinding during sunset Also

View from the deck is amazing.Access to property and Yachats shops, beach, is great, however, the 7th Wave has been neglected and I would not recommend it to my friends. Here are my reasons:- First impressons: the front door has not seen paint/stain and is peeling wood. The couch next to the front door has an old sofa cushion with multiple tears - the stuffing obviously coming out.- The fireplace hangs from the ceiling in the upstairs living area and is a huge liability. Anyone using it could easily be burned - definitely not for active children.- One of the teflon pots had multiple layers of peeling teflon, not safe. - Lots of plates, wine glasses but only 5 bowls.- Kitchen 'puck' lighting undercounter not working, just a strip installed to compensate. We were a group of watercolor painters and moved a standing lamp and desk type lamp to help light our evening painting in the dining area.- Staircase light going to 2nd floor kit/bedroom/living was out upon arrival, Ocean Odessey came right away to change it. While there, they mentioned the door to the deck from the livingroom had a wonky lock and how not to get locked outside.The door lock was actually held together with duck tape! The window next to it must have had a broken seal (someone trying to get in the was locked out, possibly?), and had not been washed in a very long time. Could not see anything through it.- The person who slept in the 1st floor bedroom said it was dusty upon arrival. She used the humidifier to help the musty smell, and that was most successful.- 3 of the 6 deck chairs were unusable, as the webbing was broken.- The pillows were either old or very cheap, they were extremely flat. Our bedspread had tears along the edging.- Lastly, there was NO INFO book to intro us to the house, area, remotes, nothing. Downstairs TV lasted 20 minutes. Ocean Odessey said it was 'fried'.Note: I have pictures of All
