Firm beds with a variety of pillow choices. Ocean view from deck and dining room window. Quiet..Bedrooms had dressers, nightstands, bedside lights and hangers. This house is very reasonably priced for the Yachats area and still close to beach, trails and has a good view. -Light blocking curtains would be helpful in the bedrooms..there is a glass top extending over the wooden dining table that could easily be a hazard

A very good location, half a block from seven miles of beach to the right and a long walk over the headlands to the left. The home is very comfortable, well-maintained and well-supplied. The neighborhood is very quiet except for the sound of the ocean. Highly recommended for couples or small families.

Cute comfy place! Good location! Loved that it was close to the trail into town. Loved the fireplace. Clean bathroom and bedding!!Bit of a musty smell in the house and was not thrilled to find a spider web full of dead and alive spiders next to the couch in the TV room. Covers on both couches need to be washed. One of the blinds in the bedroom closest to fireplace was very dirty and rusted.Would be nice to have the TV in the room with the fireplace! Only thing missing is a washer and dryer!!

We stay here often and it feels like our home. Close to the beach and the 804 trail. Quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is very well equipped.

The location of this rental was superb. It was walking distance from a long section of sandy beach. It was also close to a very lovely trail. We enjoyed our time outside a lot. It was a gift. The overall look of the inside was nice. The kitchen served us well. FYI they don't want you to cook crab here so plan accordingly. We stopped for fish along the way so that would have been disappointing to find out had we purchased fresh crab. There is no kitchen exhaust, so that made things interesting. That in combination with the heavy wind and rain. Several of the windows collected condensation and exposed the active mold sources. I shared the concerns with the host group property management team and they seemed pressed to take care of it. I was left feeling pretty miserable while we were there and am detoxing after our stay. Our belongings retained the musty odor of the property so I am cleaning that with mold specific laundry products. If that were my property, I would be updating the windows and removing any water damaged material. Had I known the condition of this rental, I would not have chosen to spend time or money here. I understand that battling moisture on the coast is a constant struggle. Updating the windows from single pane aluminum would go a long way. The gorgeous picture window was covered in mold around the perimeter. In the bottom left corner there was cracking and peeling paint, a sign of mold and water damage. This was not what I was expecting for our vacay.

Cozy little cottage. Love being able to hit the beach in a short walk. Would live to stay here again.

This was our second stay at this property- What an amazing location- quick stroll down a quiet dirt road about 30 yards- turn left and enjoy the beautiful 804 trail; turn right and access 7 miles of beautiful and very UNcrowded sandy beach!!

Comfortable 2 BR/1BA cottage with a nice deck where we had most meals and relaxed. Easy check-in with a code for the lock box. The gas fireplace was welcome on cool mornings. Quiet neighborhood, birds and beautiful flowers in the back yard. Very close (less than a block) to the coastal trail, which I walked daily. Near the trail were wild blackberries , which we enjoyed for breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again!!

My wife and I could not stay in the house due to a last-minute issue. The host was very accommodating and allowed two of our friends to stay in our place. The high ratings you see were what my friends experienced and communicated to me. It was a positive situation in a challenging situation.

The location was awesome . Steps from the beach and coastal trail. Very quiet. Comfortable beds and furniture. Everything you need for a great stay except for a dishwasher, washer and dryer which would have been nice.

Just right for a long stay

Very quaint cottage/home on the Oregon shore. Close to Yachats for dining and shopping. Perfect for relaxing on the beach - just a quick walk down a public pathway to the beach. We were very happy there - our only suggestion is to stock beach chairs.

The Swallows was cozy, comfortable and quaint. Walking path just 2 house's down and easy beach access. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals, nice view while enjoying them. Quiet neighborhood, lots of birds. Great home base for exploring the area. Sure hope to come and stay again.Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Simple setup but loved loved the location w ready access to sand beach to north & trail to town to south.
