We had a great stay. Very pleasant setting and extremely peaceful. Although the dishwasher was broken, the host kept in great touch with us and we understood that they were going to replace the dishwasher after we were gone.Appliances break and that could have easily happened to us at our own home. The home was truly a retreat and a haven. It was quiet and at night the skies were so clear you could actually see the Milky Way.

I read in other reviews that the host was not good in communicating. I didn’t find that at all. Any question I had was answered promptly. I loved the house. We probably were there during the coldest spell Florida has had in a long time . The pool table came in handy. The heat worked well, furniture was comfy, neighborhood was quiet. I would return .

Our Santa Fe River cottage rental was indeed serene and relaxing! We enjoyed spotting several interesting birds, deer and other wildlife and saw fish jumping in the river while enjoying our coffee outside on the deck and patio. This spacious but cozy cottage was just right for us. We had 2 sitting rooms to choose from; one for quiet reading and the other for catching up with Netflix. The kitchen was was bright and sunny with the added convenience of a washer/dryer. We chose an ideal river cottage for our son's wedding weekend. The natural beauty of the setting and river created a perfect place for us to unwind and recharge.

On our first morning, we enjoyed access to the Lower Santa Fe River - using the launch ramp next door to the house. We paddled upstream to the Santa Fe River Park and fished while we drifted back down to the house. On other days, we enjoyed launching kayaks from Rum Island County Park as well as doing lazy river tubing on the Ichetucknee River.

We had a wonderful stay on the river! The house was way bigger than we thought it would be but we loved it. There were a few things not working (like the ice machine but my SO fixed it) but it was fine. We also saw a couple of bugs in the kitchen but I guess that’s to be expected by the River. I was charged an extra 30 after checkout for a stain on a bed sheet. I’m not sure what that was but I have no problem paying for something my family messes up. I do think this is why I enjoy hotels more than VRBO stays, plus the missing service hotels and resorts offer. Overall we had a great time! The springs are gorgeous!

I loved the property. It was on the river with an awesome view from the sliding glass door of house. Thw only thing that would have made it better was to stay in the summer time when it was warm. Had everything you could have needed.

We chose to stay here to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. The home was very clean inside. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need. We brought a canoe and enjoyed the river each day. The porch was a wonderful place to drink our coffee each morning and watch the afternoon thunderstorms. We look forward to going back.

Very spacious for a 2 bedroom. Great price/value. Kitchen is fully stocked & comfy sitting areas! Right on the river with a big deck. We had a great time! Not necessary for the price, but new pillows, more deck furniture and a thorough deep cleaning would be a . Dock is currently under repair and not accessible - which was fine for us!Thanks for hosting us!

This property is well out of the way from hussle and bustle. Quiet and tranquil. I couldnt have wished for more.Wake up to great birding, put some lines in the water off the dock, or push our kayak in the water for a paddle.Public boatramp is adjacent to the property. A FWC Wildlife Enhancement Area is at the end of the street. 20 minutes from Itchetucknee Springs and 20 minutes from Ginnie Springs.Great place to unwind. Didnt want to leave!

The location was exactly what we were looking for. Very peaceful for a relaxing weekend. The downside…the water pressure was very poor. The first night we noticed the water pressure wasn’t great but we could deal with it. The next 2 nights there was barely enough. The toilets wouldn’t flush for a while. Then the shower heads had no water. The water returned in form of a light trickle. Informed the owner but there were no available plumbers. The owner was very apologetic and offered us a partial refund. We made the best of it but it wasn’t pleasant not being able to take a proper shower. On a side note, the house was spacious for us and comfortable enough. Housekeeping could improve a bit. There were spider webs above the main sliding doors and crumbs and dirt under the family room sofa. The towels smelled musty and a few were stained. The grounds need a bit of TLC. The table at the river’s edge is broken and the garden hose did not work. Definitely recommend to bring your own drinking water and wine bottle opener

We booked a river house to enjoy boating and kayaking . The river flooded a few days before our stay. Absolutely not the fault of the management company. However when we asked about the river, we were never given any details except we will check with our team I specifically asked because we wanted to make other arrangements for our vacation if the river was not able to be accessed. We asked for a partial refund it was initially denied stating it would not be fair to other guests. The communication was horrible, we would text or email. Then get a response a day or two later, but never with any actual details or answers. Mainly let me check with the team nothing that said the river was flooded and at the back deck and was not safe to be in. Finally on the last day we received an 18% refund. The house is very nice, the location perfect. We would have loved to go back at a different time if the communication of the team would have been better. I learned to never book with this management company during any possible flood.
