Ichetucknee Springs/Ginnie Springs/Santa Fe River at the Hideaway Cottage

The cabin we used for 5 days were spectacular. It was very clean ,cozy, and fulfilled all of our dreams plus more. Our hosts were very accomodating. We would definitely fgo back there again.

It was a cute little Cabin in the Woods. Great place to get away and relax. Lots of Wildlife. Ginnie Springs is a great place to swim. The host of The Cottage Hideaway are excellent.

I can not express that the pictures do not do this place justice. Yes, the property looks like the pictures. However, once you get there you get this wonderful magical sheen that comes over you and everything is that much more awesome. Getting to speak and meet the owners, walk the property with them, see the love, care, and commitment they put into the property and cabin is amazing! When Mike and Laura left us after the first 45 minutes of talking and touring we realized the gift we were afforded to be able to share in their paradise! We saw deer, rabbits, hummingbirds! The attention to detail I can not say enough about. We wanted for nothing! Everything had a place, nothing was not thought of, it was amazing! One note for those who run hot: The cabin has a window shaker, in the hot summer months the cabin really can not get cooler than 76ish which for most is great. They do offer a fan but the bathroom and side bonus room are not vented. Easy solution bring an additional fan and you can really make the place comfortable. If you have to have it super cool I suggest not booking in the hottest months but then you sacrifice how amazing the springs are during those months. Aside from that this cabin is truly a Gem and I would suggest it to any nature buff as we rode our bikes, tubed, sat by the river, had a fire and even practiced our short Disc golf shots in the yard. We will SO be back! Thank you Mike and Laura for sharing your slice of heaven.

Mike and Laura were amazing hosts. The cottage had everything you could need, very clean and organized. The river and nature around, incredible. We spent some fabulous days and will definitely return. Thank you Mike and Laura for your excellent hospitality.

It is a magical place! Surrounded by beauty and nature! Mike and Laura are so kind and thoughtful. The cottage is beautiful, clean, cozy and filled with so much love and care.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and gracious. Every possible amenity was available, from kitchen to bathroom to extras beyond what one would expect. The property is a wonderful acreage of nature and very well kept.

Our stay was just what we hoped it would be. We enjoyed just relaxing as we watched the deer and turkeys come eat the corn we put out for them. We kayaked the Santa Fe river from behind the home to the mouth of the ichetucknee river and swam in the crystal clear spring waters. The cottage is located where you can easily access either the Santa Fe, Ichetucknee, or Suwannee rivers. We will definitely be returning.

This was a great place to stay. It is secluded but near the Springs. The owners were pleasant. The owner even sent my daughter's ring back that they found after we left.

Cabin was clean and well equipped. The property was beautiful, the wildlife abundant as the deer,birds and owls welcomed me to their sanctuary. My soul still smiles...............

The Hideaway Cottage is an amazing get away. Quiet peaceful location perfect for a getaway weekend. Close to many springs along the Santa Fe. Owners were very accommodating and personable. So glad they have shared their piece of paradise.We will definitely book again.

Hideaway Cottage and the riverside property it is nestled in were just what we we were hoping - Cozy, peaceful and an easy launchpad for wilderness adventures. We kayaked the Santa Fe from their dock and saw so much wildlife on or near the property,. Mike was very helpful and on hand when needed.

This is the perfect little cottage! While off the beaten path, this property is gorgeous and everything you could want for a relaxing getaway. The cottage was spotless and stocked with everything you could need and more. Mike and Laura are amazing hosts and made sure we felt welcome. It rained while we were there so we weren't able to spend as much time on the porch and dock as we wanted, but we were able to see several deer, turkeys and rabbits!

We loved staying here! Perfect location for any and all outdoor activities on the rivers and springs. We loved relaxing on the floating dock and sitting around the fire in the evening. Lisa and Mike were extremely hospitable and communicative. We can’t wait to stay there again!
