Serenity - lakeside family paradise

What a fabulous weekend away for our two families! A beautifully furnished, large and clean house right on the lake. The location was perfect - quiet, with easy access to the lake, beaches and local shops. The kitchen was well stocked, the deck was quite large overlooking the lake and the children loved taking the kayaks out on the lake. There was even Easter Eggs in the fridge when we arrived - such a lovely touch for the Easter Long Weekend! Check in was super easy. Rebecca the host, was super lovely, responsive and easy to contact. Such a lovely and relaxing weekend away!

We stayed over Christmas for two weeks and really enjoyed our stay at Smiths lake. There were chocolates and champagne on our arrival, as well as a Christmas tree, which was a lovely touch as we have 7 children. The house was fantastic and had everything in it that we needed. We loved the keyless entry and not having to worry about keys. The house is so close to the lake, only about 30 metres, and gave us all a good work out walking up and down to it! There were three canoes available to use which was a bonus. The house was comfortable and big enough for our family of 9 and I would recommend it for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday by the lake.

Great location; well equipped home with plenty of space. Kitchen has been thoughtfully stocked with anything you would want. Two suggestions; bedrooms would benefit from additional blinds to maintain privacy & shield early morning sun; front pathway needs additional lighting - very tricky to navigate in places.

A beautifully furnished, comfortable, clean and generously stocked lake house right by the water. It is a peaceful location surrounded by nature and perfect for our two families with all the creature comforts you could need.

Thank you Rebecca for creating such a lovely space, it had everything we needed. So many lovely touches that made the space welcoming and relaxing. Smith Lake itself is beautiful to explore, we enjoyed using the kayaks to explore the lake. We traveled with another family and everyone, kids included loved everything about this house.

Such a great house to get away from the rat race for a couple of days

Amazing time away with our two families. Kids had a ball exploring, kayaking and playing at the stunning beaches nearby. We'd bring eye masks next time to block out the light in the bedrooms so we could sleep past sunrise but waking up to that view almost made up for the early starts! Every thing is near by excluding golf course which was visited twice. Complete serenity, totally lives up to its name!

What a divine house and beautiful location. Great rooms and fantastic shared spaces, comfortable beds, fully and generously equipped kitchen with lots of mod cons. Lots of space and very beautiful location. Smiths Lake itself is peaceful and beautiful (and you wake to quiet and birdsong) and only a short drive to picturesque beaches. There was nothing missing and everything about our stay was exactly as we wanted. A terrific house to share with my family, my friends and our kids. Thank you!

We stayed with friends in this gorgeous house. Once we navigated our outrigger canoes down the steep garden to the lake there was no stopping us from exploring glorious Smiths Lake. The house had everything we needed and was very well appointed with everything in excellent working order. Would highly recommend.

Rebecca's house is very clean & spacious, also in a great location, close to shops & lake. Rebecca was a great host, always answered my enquiries promptly. Thanks Rebecca for allowing us to stay, we would definitely come back.
