We stayed here due to the close proximity to Bryson City and the Polar Express Train Ride. Property met all our expectations, was clean and well maintained.
We could not have been more impressed with the location, seclusion and cleanliness of this property! Plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 children. We will definitely book this property again!
Our family stayed in this lovely home with a beautiful view. We took the Polar Express in Bryson City with our children and grandchildren. We had cloudy and rainy weather but the home was complete with games for all ages. We would definitely stay again!
Nice property with a beautiful view.
Beautiful property! The kitchen was well stocked with basic spices, dish towels. Towels in all bathrooms. The only complaint we had was the bedroom in the lower level the queen bed needs a new mattress. Very clean, beautiful scenery!
We love visiting the mountains and particularly enjoy staying at Sundrops. Everything worked out very well. The weather was beautiful and home and views are stunning. Thank you for sharing your home with us - it was a treat for our family!
This home exceeded our expectations!! We ate all meals, had cocktail hour and even worked on our computers from the porch because the view of the mountains from the porch is outstanding. It is hard to look away from the view. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped (even had a Keurig for our morning coffee) and the home is mountain elegance(modern with mountain flare). Bonus- it is close to amazing hikes in Blue Ridge Parkway, Smokey Mountain National Park, Nantahala and Pisgah National Forest. We highly recommend this wonderful house for a mountain vacation.
We met family at this home to help move our nephew into WCU. What an outstanding location and beautiful views! Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked (we cooked dinner each night). We loved the community walking/hiking trails and sitting on the back deck. Will definitely book a return visit here!
We enjoyed our long weekend at Serenity. It is a beautiful place with a beautiful view. Very spacious. Wide covered decks. Plenty of room for everyone. Pool and trail were a great addition. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We very much enjoyed our stay at this mountain home. Internet service is a problem, though. Several in our group were unable to get service and for someone trying to do work, that is a problem.
This is an amazing place to stay, great views very high end. One draw back is the low end supplies for toiletries provided.
My sorority sisters spent the weekend here and really enjoyed our stay. We all are WCU alumi. The house is very comfortable for the 8 girls we had in the house. The porch is where we ended up every night. We are already looking forward to scheduling another trip!!
This cabin, wow! It was beautiful both inside and out. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The porch and the view was better than any picture you have seen. If you get a chance, you will definitely want to stay here. We are already discussing when we can come back.
Loved our stay!
Have been renting here for 10 years. Fees were way to high. Location very pretty. Homeowners association officer not to nice. Cookware and some furnishings need updating. I am sad to say I won't be back !
We were delighted to find this home at the top end of the hill with minimal views of other neighboring properties. The views from the inside and the back porch let you see a nice range of mountains/hills across the little river fork valley. We were instantly blown away by how quiet it was, both inside and out. The house is well taken care of, has great finishes, is furnished well and has plenty of seating and TV options for all the guests in your group. The grill was easy to use as was the outside fireplace (there's one inside too). Kitchen-wise, it was well stocked with great knives and silverware, tons of plates/bowls, cutting boards, trivets, towels, mixing bowls and pots and pans. The Jenn-Air fridge and microwave were a nice touch, with the range being a glass top but of a different brand. Parking-wise, we managed 3 average vehicles without issue. Right at the property we saw 5 deer, 1 raccoon, a few woodpeckers and assorted birds, 1 rabbit, and a tiny bat that flew onto the back porch rug for a few minutes. If you walk down the hill into the larger community and towards the river, you might get to spot a fish or two and maybe say hi to another resident's dog on a walk. We'd highly recommend this property, it was a fantastic spot for our week long Thanksgiving getaway!
The house has a wonderful view, and the layout of rooms/spaces were great both indoors and out for our multi-generational family stay. The kitchen is well-equipped. The property is well-located near many outdoor activities, shops and restaurants. We would definitely go back.
We loved the covered porch, community pool, and river access for fishing!
Our family spent a long weekend at Serenity Cabin, and we all said it was the best place we have ever stayed. We were in town for a family wedding so there was quite a bit of coming and going. We spent most of the time on the porch when we were there. It's perfect if you have children. They enjoyed the creek and the pool. Yes, the WiFi can be spotty, especially if it is cloudy, but most of the time we had coverage on the porch. We really would like to come back again when we don't have anything else going on. Oh, and also, my son in law says it's the best stocked kitchen in any rental he's stayed in.
Our family enjoyed our stay at the Serenity. It was comfortable and peaceful. There are no real suggestions.
You step inside and the view is the first thing you notice. Breathtaking. The house is gorgeous and we loved the open floor plan. Plenty of room for 7 adults and 2 kids. The only negative would be that the wifi was weak and our cell phones had no service. We couldn't call out if there was an emergency. We would suggest having a land line for emergency situations. Otherwise our stay was amazing and we hated to leave!
My family loved Serenity! Views were amazing. Home was beautiful and Candy Fork was close enough to everything. The pool was nice to relax in. We hope to return again.
We had a wonderful vacation with our family. We enjoyed the views, the community, and the little towns all around. We were able to relax and enjoy each other's company. The house is well- stocked and comfortable. The only suggestion would be that a carpet jokey or small vacuum is needed to clean up little messes.
This was the best house we have stayed in due to the location, the house is well stocked with kitchen supplies (we added to the spices and oil). Very comfortable and inviting. Thank you so much it made our stay even better to watch our daughter graduate from Western Carolina University. Go Cats!!
Wow!! What a perfect mountain retreat. We loved our time at this beautiful home. We lived out in the deck. The views from the deck are stunning. It's like you're in the middle of the national forest, but you have the security of being in a gated community. Plus there isn't a long, narrow, twisty turny mountain road to get there. Access is easy, which is really important for someone like me who gets carsick really easily. We visited the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway, both of which are not far. And we enjoyed the restaurants fairly close by in Sylva and Dillsboro. We didn't do much cooking. It was vacation after all. The home was clean, comfy and well stocked. The pictures and description make this place sound nice, but it's even better in person. We can't wait to go back.
