Glenside at the Point - Lake Front Home With a Private Dock and Plenty of Outdoor Space

Beautiful setting with lake and Mountain View’s.

We stayed at Glenside at the Point with two other couples, and the six of us were also there at the same time last summer. We absolutely love the location of the house on the lake because most of us are avid swimmers and it is easy (and safe) to swim laps across the cove without worrying about passing boats. We are also cooks, and we love the layout of the kitchen and the abundance of cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. We had many delicious meals during the week, and most were eaten at the outside table with the fantastic view of the lake. It is a great place to eat even if it is raining because the overhang is big enough to keep water off the table and chairs. We were VERY pleasantly surprised to discover the addition of a big hot tub this year, AND a rebuilt dock that has a lot of very comfortable furniture as well as a big umbrella to keep the sun off. (We also appreciated the new ladder!). We hope to return next year. The house would be perfect for one or two couples and some children; for three adult couples it is always a question of who takes the downstairs bedroom with the double bed and bunk beds. We understand, however, that having all the extra sleeping space makes the house more attractive for groups larger than ours. And it is fantastic that there are three full baths plus a 1/2 bath. The new stone steps down to the dock are very pretty, although a bit trickier to climb up if wet or if you have short legs! The neighborhood is very nice and quiet!

We enjoyed this house so much. It was well stocked with plenty of extras. We were never bored. The king size beds are comfortable! Really everything worked well! Do make sure you can handle steps! The walk down to the deep water dock is significant, but well done. The dock is large with nice chairs and an umbrella to stay awhile! Thank you for opening your home to us!

Nice stay, convenient location for us, beautiful views

We have stayed on this property 3 times over the past 2 years. Beautiful area, tree’s were in full color so very enjoyable for a walk as well for being on the lake.
