Nice place

Overall great stay, we stayed for a month and it was perfect.

From the moment we arrived at this property we were disappointed. So many things were completely unacceptable. Just to list a few. Not enough towels for everyone. The water here is brown. You will need to bring drinking and cooking water. Dead and live bugs in the house. Fridge downstairs was filthy. The couch is broken in several spots. Cigarette butts and trash in the yard. The hot tub was not turned on. So we could not use for 2 days until it warmed. All of the toilets were not cleaned!! I have pics of everyone of these things. All issues were communicated to property manager. No attempt to resolve any issue and no offer for compensation. So disappointed.

Great spot. Good fishing. Ample parking. Great outdoor space.

I booked this house because it has a lift…. However when I arrived the lift didn’t work, when I inquired about the lift, Maria messaged me she couldn’t get into her phone right now??! after waiting w/no reply, I had to drag all our luggage & groceries up the stairs. My 82 year old handicapped mother would have enjoyed not having to climb stairs, but Maria never did give direction on the use of the lift, yet request a five star review! I’m sorry but the lift is a big deal when you travel with elderly folks. The lower level of the house was not clean, spiders & webs every where. The”leather” furniture in the ground level room is peeling off all over the floor, you couldn’t sit on it or the ottoman, that room smelled of mold. The upper 2 levels of the house were nice & clean, the location of the house was great, very quit & beautiful river views. We saw deer & turkey on the property. Overall we enjoyed our stay! But I’m definitely not happy about the way the lift inquiry was just ignored… for five days, again having to drag everything down the stairs when we left! You clearly do not intend to provide the lift to guests, so please remove it from the listing!

Overall we had a wonderful time and the house and property are beautiful. It should not be advertised as a 4/3 when the downstairs is uninhabitable. Between the smell and ants it isn’t possible. Which definitely caused some frustration since we needed the 4th bedroom. There were not enough towels so we did constant laundry, and every dish we used was dirty. The coffee pot was full of moldy coffee having not been cleaned. The master shower did not drain unless I plunged it after each use so every shower we took in that bathroom we had about 5 mins before it would overflow, again another frustration with a group of 7 and 1 properly working shower. I was asked to let them know of any issues before giving the house anything less than 5 stars, which I did and that message was ignored completely and I was reminded I would be charged $6 per bag of trash if i had more than 4 bags instead. Which was funny because the house had only the 1 garbage bag that came in the kitchen trash can and we had to provide our own bags. In any case we made it all work, overlooking the river with the dock and yard was great, the beds were comfortable and the patio was nice to relax on. The kitchen had plenty of cookware and the house was comfortable. A little attention to detail and I would’ve given it a 5 star.

Really nice place and location!

The property is clean, the rooms are great, and the views are beautiful. Upgrades are apparent. The huge porch overlooking the river with plenty of seating, BBQ, and hot tub made the experience better. If you are looking for a great place to get away from it all, this is it.

The bag fee is ridiculous especially for having a long stay and only had one paper towels and not enough rags for guest to shower with we had to go out and buy more and your fridge showed it had water but it’s a different fridge so we had to go get bottles of water to drink. The 4th room you gotta walk outside and it smells like outside in there. They have a lift for bags and stuff but it was left down so upstairs had a gaping hole you could fall down we had to block it off with chairs because we texted and they had no answer to get the lift to work. Also they charge you 6 dollars PER bag after 4 bags they charged us 54 dollars for trash. But overall the cabin was great still had a fun time.
