We had the most wonderful time staying here! The house is exactly as it appears in the pictures. Such a beautiful view and peaceful setting. Steve is a great host and is readily available if you need anything. It was the perfect location just outside of town. Make sure you rent a car.

Highly Recommend! We had a wonderful stay at Steve’s cabin near Juneau prior to boarding our Seabourn cruise. Two couples and no kids. Steve was an excellent host, responding quickly to our questions and offering great local tips. His restaurant recommendations were spot on, In Bocca Al Lupa was our favorite for dinner and Sandpiper for breakfast! The cabin is spotless, rustic, comfortable, relaxing and perfectly located, close enough to Juneau for easy access to shops and restaurants, yet far enough out to feel surrounded by nature. Also an easy drive to Mendenhall Glacier. While at the cabin, we enjoyed the beautiful bushes and berry picking right on the property. The beds were very comfortable, and the setting was peaceful. A few things to note: cell service is minimal, so be sure to have Wi-Fi calling set up, and the circular staircase may be tricky for small children or elderly guests. We loved our time here and plan to return on our next trip to Juneau. Thanks Steve!

Extremely pleased with the level of communication with Steve. His recommendation for a tour with spot on. I would definitely recommend this property if you have a car. Although he doesn’t have it listed, Steve has a 220 V outlet available for your use if you have your own EV mobile charger.

The oversized windows face the channel and we enjoyed the awesome scenery from morning til dark! Weather for our stay was exceptional with sun and 70s. The two porches were great for sunning and watching the many birds and other animals around the property. Kitchen was well appointed and beds were comfy! We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend this property due to it’s location and charm (the local art throughout the cottage is so interesting!)

Steve’s place is amazing. Super cute and in a great spot to watch the cruise ships. He’s very responsive and helpful. Made our stay memorable, and included little touches like fresh cut flowers in the kitchen and slippers for everyone to wear in the house.
