Otter Den Studio—A wild Alaskan getaway surrounded by wildlife and adventure!

Our week long stay at the Otter Den was, by far, the most relaxing vacation my husband and I have ever taken. The view from the balcony is amazing, especially when you see whales right in front of this wonderful place! The host, Clay is very prompt with communication and was always ready with suggestions for restaurants and area places to visit. The Otter Den offers a cozy stay with everything you need at your fingertips. We highly recommend staying at the Tongass Treehouse!

The treehouse is perfect in every way! Location, wildlife, comfort, amenities, peace and quiet, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We saw humpbacks or orcas every morning- bald eagles swooping by, otters, sea lions- it was incredible! The location is perfect, far enough away from town that you feel the peace and quiet, but close enough that it’s no trouble to run in for groceries or dinner. Clay is so helpful and made our trip even more memorable with recommendations for kayaking, food, hikes… We will be back!

We spent a week in Juneau in late June and felt so lucky to be staying in the Otter Den! It was the perfect place to return to after a day of hiking and exploring the area, so cozy and comfortable with unsurpassed views from the balcony. Eagles flew by, salmon splashed, and the light on the sea was mesmerizing. Clay and Erica were wonderfully welcoming hosts and had terrific recommendations about places to eat and things to do during our stay. Absolutely magical memories of our time in the Tongass Treehouse.

We stayed in the Otters Den for 3 nights and it was fantastic! The views were exceptional and we spent a lot of time on the deck. The hosts were very responsive and had great recommendations for things to do in the area and close by the Treehouse. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Get away from the cruise ships and into nature. The deck is where you’ll want to spend a lot of time. The kitchen, snacks, treats, coffee was a nice touch, and the pots, pans are better than my home. The trails near by will keep you busy, and a good location for glacier access. Think Wildlife and Real Alaska!The Owners are kind and responsive, thank you. This is a special place.

My Wife and I spent a few days here in September. Juneau is a wonderful place with great views and hikes but staying here put it over the top for us. Wonderful hosts and a wonderful place to spend time together.

We loved staying in the Otter Den! Clay and Erica have created a very comfortable, clean and beautiful space! The view was absolutely spectacular, the amenities were modern (loved the heated bathroom floor), the kitchen had everything needed for the foody in me to prepare meals. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. There is so much to explore within minutes, or just enjoy quiet moments with stunning sunsets and wildlife viewing from the deck! Clay and Erica; Thank you for sharing your beautiful space. We miss being there already!

The Fischer’s have created a warm and comfortable space. I relaxed, read and watched an amazing number of eagles. The view is unparalleled. Bring binoculars, you will see whales.

The otter den was a perfect fit for our stay. It has a treehouse feeling, surrounded by lush Alaskan coastal forest. The place was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend!

The property is absolutely stunning and meticulously cleaned. The owners communicated throughout our stay with any questions we had. I highly recommend this location if u are looking for privacy, quiet, and a stunning view. I would highly recommend this stay every time we stay in Juneau. The decor is also stunning. We had a great time
