Serene escape w/ bubbling sounds of Wagon Creek & majestic views of Mt. Shasta.

Beautiful home, but extremely poor communication and lack of host responsibilityThe property itself was beautiful, spotless, and offered an incredible view — just as pictured. Unfortunately, the host’s lack of attentiveness and poor communication made the overall experience deeply disappointing.Upon arrival, the entry code did not work, requiring repeated messaging before a new one was provided. While that was an inconvenience I could overlook, the situation worsened significantly during unexpected power outages that occurred on two mornings of our stay. We received no prior notice that these were planned maintenance outages, which also left us without water or internet access for hours.When I informed the host of the outage, she said she “looked it up online” and confirmed that other homes were without power, but she never called the power company to get real information or updates. I ultimately had to contact the power company myself to find out that this was a scheduled outage — and to learn that another outage was planned for the following day as well. Guests should never have to take on that responsibility.Compounding this, when I asked her to text me directly (since there was no internet and reception was poor), she refused, citing Vrbo policy, even though it was clearly an emergency situation. Having booked with Vrbo for many years, I’ve encountered wonderful, proactive hosts — but this was not one of them.To be clear, the home is lovely, clean, and well care

We had a wonderful time and the home was perfect for us. It was just the two of us so we didn’t really go into the other bedrooms, but they looked nice from the door. This home is very cool and perfect for a family group. Thank you for a great weekend.

This property was beautiful! We had a view of the mountain from our living room and it was breathtaking. Hearing the creek on the deck was so soothing and the host was amazing at communication and helping out when we reached out. We definitely want to go back to this place again :-). It was so nice and clean when we arrived and the welcome packet was so incredibly helpful. Highly recommend this property if your looking to go to Mt. Shasta

This is a quiet place with lots of space and a nice view. The wifi was good as well. The host was fast to reply, thank you! Overall we had a great time staying there.
