Majestic Mt. Shasta Retreat, Breathtaking Views of Mt. Shasta & Lake Siskiyou

This property is spectacular. The house is is so beautiful, comfortable and completely original. We are already planning our return next year. The homeowner, caretaker and housekeeper made us feel so welcome , well cared for and available at a moments notice.

Our stay at this extraordinary Mount Shasta home was beyond anything we imagined. The house is not just a place to sleep — it’s an experience in itself. From the grand log architecture to the hand-carved details, every inch of this property felt like a warm invitation to relax, explore, and soak in nature’s beauty.The views are simply jaw-dropping — expansive, uninterrupted vistas of Mount Shasta and the shimmering lake below. We started our days with coffee on the deck and ended them gathered around the firepit, watching the sun set behind the mountains. It’s hard to describe the peace and awe this view brings — you have to feel it to believe it.One of our favorite highlights was the jacuzzi with a direct view of Mount Shasta. Soaking in warm water while gazing at the snowcapped peak felt surreal — like a private spa nestled in the clouds. It was the perfect way to unwind after days of hiking, exploring, and simply enjoying the mountain air.Inside, the home is filled with charm, luxury, and comfort. The rustic-meets-elegant design, the massive stone fireplace, cozy reading nooks, and unique log furniture made the whole space feel like a cozy lodge from a fairytale. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked and a joy to cook in. The kids loved the carved bear details and open living spaces, and the whole family had fun fishing nearby and enjoying the outdoors.This home was the perfect balance of wilderness and comfort!

Nestled in a beautiful setting, the home provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable three-day getaway with friends celebrating 10 years of friendship. The winter atmosphere only added to the charm, making our stay even more special as we got to fully enjoy the warmth and comfort of the home. The property itself is well-maintained, spacious, and designed for relaxation—exactly what we needed for a stress-free weekend.A huge thanks to the host and caretaker, who were incredibly responsive and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth and safe stay. We all wished we could have stayed longer. Beautiful house, close to restaurants and ski resort. Perfect trip, highly recommend the house. Hopefully we can return soon!!

Outstanding property with never-ending views of the mountain and forests. We thought the pictures of the house were nice, but the reality was even better! What a fabulous structure. Lots of room, great kitchen, space for everyone! what a house! we loved it... However, Hot tub was unavailable (broken), deck and deck furniture was not clean, some rooms were not clean, no BBQ, and lots of things just didn't work! Needs attention!
