Seneca Memories: Luxury Lakeside Home on Seneca Lake!

My family of 8 stayed here for one week. Finger Lake Premier Properties’ Staff was great! The interior of the home was immaculate. However, there were several things that were disappointing considering the cost to rent the home. All of the blinds were broken and being held up with zip ties or duck tape. The duck tape lasted about one day. The air conditioner in the dining room (which is also a sunroom but the only area for large parties to eat together) was broken and the management company was never able to get it fixed while we were there. There was an unsightly pile of window screens in the dining room yet none of them fit the windows. I think that despite the A/C being broken, it would have been manageable to eat in there if the windows had screens and could have been opened, but that wasn’t the case. The exterior had not been cleaned in a very long time. I spent three hours scrubbing outdoor furniture, sweeping the decks, and wiping down railings. I also found that the batteries had died in most of the remotes. I did buy batteries and replaced most of them. I will absolutely rent from Finger Lake Premier Properties again but I would not stay in this home again or recommend it to anyone else. The price is far too high for all of the problems it had. I would recommend that the pictures of the home be updated to show all of the duck tape, zip ties, piles of screens and the overall condition of the exterior of the house.

We had an incredible stay at Seneca Memories! The home, views, and amenities are even more incredible in person, and the neighbors were very friendly! Despite the slow and scenic 7 minute drive down from the main road and limited parking spots (which were all worth it for this stunning home right on the water), everyone had the most amazing long weekend away in this gorgeous lake house. We will definitely be back (maybe with spouses next time)! I appreciated the easy booking process, open communication with Finger Lakes Premiere Properties reps, and the homeowners for creating a complete oasis.

This property is well-equipped, in a beautiful location and nothing more is needed for a relaxing break!

Great stay

This location is a gem - clean, spacious, beautiful - and you can't beat the views from the incredible master suite! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. I gave 4 stars on the check-in-process only, as it was really a challenge for us to use the front door keypad (multiple people tried - and finally - only 1 person in our group had success with the fingerprint style). However, the realty group was extremely responsive - and we had no issues otherwise.

My family had a wonderful time staying at this immaculate and spacious house. We loved the spectacular view of the lake and close proximity to several vineyards!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful lake house. The home was clean and very pretty, the kitchen was full of great appliances and utensils (except lacking some teaspoons) and we cooked in every night. Grill was new. All the beds were comfortable except the main floor master bedroom. That mattress has a huge dip in the middle of it that we had to try to support using pillows and blankets. Plenty of towels for everyone to use. Welcome basket was a pleasant surprise. The only minor critiques I have are that one of the blinds in the main floor porch did not work and blocked large large portion of our view of the lake which was a bit of a bummer. Also, it was disconcerting when we first arrived as the path to get to the house was a dirt road that went through a long winding farm. It felt like you were in the middle of nowhere. It turned out to be a very sweet cozy little area that was peaceful and charming but I think I would’ve felt better knowing how tucked away it was in a remote area. Finally, we found all sorts of fun things to do in the area but the property managers did not respond well when I asked them to give me some ideas of things to do prior to our arrival. Overall, it was a wonderful stay in a beautiful home that I would definitely recommend to other out-of-town visitors.

Everything was amazing! The house was beautiful, everything there you needed! I would say the only down fall was the person that went into clean it before. There was food left in the fridge and the counter wasn’t clean. Other then that everything was amazing!
