Second Row Home Beach Ball Easy walk to the beach

This house is equipped for everything. Kitchen is fully stocked for dining in, bedrooms all have televisions, 4 porches for outside relaxing, and about a 2 minute walk to public access of the beach.

Overall good, house needed a few maintenance repairs, but nothing that affected our stay. Check out/Keyless didn't work, called manager, left message.

The good: amazing location, easy to check in, views of the ocean, responsive property management company. The bad: this property is dirty and tired, and infested with cockroaches. You can call them Palmetto Bugs, but they are giant cockroaches. The property management company was responsive and sent Pest Control, but we continue to see them throughout the week. Even if there had not been cockroaches, the house feels as though no one has taken care of it. The door hardly latches. Many of the lightbulbs are burned out. There isn’t enough silverware. The pots and pans are bad. The carpets look like “hundreds of dogs vomited on them” (direct quote from my mom). The pillows aren’t even bed pillows - they are cheap throw cushions! For the price that this house commands, and compared to other houses we have rented on the coast, this house gets one star.

We were basically pleased with our stay at Beachball House! Problems included: 1. House was not very clean on arrival; 2. Outdoor furniture was old and dirty and some rusted; 3. Fridge shelf was duct taped when we arrived and with little use we realized we could not use the shelf - the duct tape eventually came off; 4. The door knob at the bottom entry was loose and would come off when used from the inside; 5. Trash was not picked up when scheduled and pool was not cleaned when scheduled; 6. Screens on the upstairs porch had come off; 6. Handyman Jamey with Sloan’s Realty was awesome - very responsive to our requests and willing to help!

We thoroughly enjoyed this house. Great floor plan, very-well stocked kitchen, and the pool was amazing to come swim and cool off after the beach was too hot for our little kiddos. Would easily book this house for another family week! Thank you so much for the memories!
