We had such a wonderful time! It was so nice to let our dogs explore off leash. Our senior dog was in heaven, swimming, and sniffing, and relaxing on the porch. The trails are absolutely beautiful and wildlife was abundant. It was so relaxing and peaceful. We will be back!

We didn't go to enjoy ourselves, we went to let the puppy play! Lol.We did have a very peaceful time. I could have just slept on the couch. I have to say about the yard. We did not get one chigger, mosquitoes or tic bites. Nothing on the dog at all. I love the huge living room!!Thank you, Rick and Amy for a great bday weekend.

This cabin and property were the perfect gateway for some much needed peace and quiet. The hosts were amazing and very easy to work with! It's been awhile since I enjoyed so much silence. This will now be a regular place for my wife and I to visit and enjoy the peace and seclusion.

We spent 3 nights here for our anniversary. The property is beautiful; lots of trails and walking paths, a stocked pond, kayaks and a canoe for use on the pond, fire pit, BBQ grill, and covered back deck leading down to the yard. This was a home away from home, fully stocked kitchen and bathroom, plenty of extra linens and bath towels, and even toys/bowls for our dog. Highly recommend if you want a quiet place to relax. We wil definitely be back!

Stayed with my husband and two dogs. House was lovely and well stocked. Host even had toys for the pups. Trails were well maintained. House was far enough from the roads to let the dogs run around without worry. Kayaks were available and host had lifejackets. Would stay again.

Just the break we needed. Kids out of school, beginning of summer break, perfect weather. We stayed at this location about 5yrs ago, and it was great then...just as it was great now. The kids enjoyed fishing, swimming, boating, exploring...just a nice time for the whole family. Definitely well recommended for others.Muhammad Family

This is a perfect place to take your pups for rest and relaxation. There are trails to explore off leash, a pond with kayaks and canoe, games to play, a cozy fire, a fully stocked kitchen, anything your dog might need, a hammock by the water…we could come here every weekend!

This was our 2nd time staying here. We bring our dogs to run free and go hiking on the trails. The wood burning stove is an added bonus during the winter. We enjoy the quiet of nature and snuggling with the pups on the big couch playing games! We will be back a 3rd time!

We had an amazing time! It was a wonderful quiet get away. Just what we needed to recharge. The property was wonderful, great trails in the woods, coffee in the morning on the deck watching the fog rise off the water, yoga on the dock & wine/bourbon on the deck in the evening. We're already planning our trip back in the spring. And what a wonderful place for the dogs. I've stayed at a lot or VRBO's & haven't had one as well stocked as this one or as welcoming for the pups. The kitchen had so many extras, as did the bathroom. They also provided extras for the pups too. One thing I would suggest adding would be a row of hooks (6-8) in the bathroom to hang towels on to dry or clothes/robes. As there is only one towel rack which is good for maybe 2 towels. There was also an abundance of books, puzzles, & games for rainy days which we took advantage of as our 1st day there it rained all day. There is a very large wood stove with an ample supply of wood (on the deck). We didn't get to use it as it was to warm but can imagine how nice it would be. I just can't say enough of how much we enjoyed our time there. The only other thing I would recommend is a storage cabinet at the front of the deck or on the side so that all of the life jackets, rods, oars, etc... could be stored & not take up half the deck. This way the whole deck can be used, & it doesn't impede the view from inside. It was an amazing getaway. But a later check out would be great as we could enjoy a little more time.

Beautiful land, great home, and all the things to entertain a family with two young boys. The trails on the property are wonderful, we brought bird, plant and animal track guides to identify all the things we found on nature hikes. Our boys are expert fishermen after spending every day on the dock and paddling in the canoe. You can watch everything from the covered front porch. Owner provided firewood for the firepit and was very helpful!
