Secluded & spacious retreat with private hot tub, carriage house & game room

Great place for a family reunion

We couldn't enjoy our stay due to maintenance & cleanliness issues & would not recommend this rental. The lock was malfunctioning upon arrival, & we were left in the dark for over 2 hours. They kept telling us to re-enter the code & blaming my mother in law for not entering it correctly. Once they finally sent a manager, they realized the lock wasn't working. The bedding was dirty, especially the pillows, duvets, & pillow covers. Mattress pads were so covered in hair we could see it through the sheets. The pillows themselves had big stains, & nothing had a protective cover. I spent the entire day washing our bedding, & it still felt dirty. The exterior was littered with beer cans, cigarette butts, marijuana cigarette butts, & plastic trash. Both couches in the main living room have torn apart back cushions. The porch rug is falling apart.Carpets are sticky & gross & turned our feet black immediately.The non stick pans are so badly scratched we were afraid to use them, but thankfully they did have a few stainless ones. When we arrived the water was running in one of the bathtubs, & the fixture was broken, so it couldn't be shut off, amongst other plumbing issues. They sent a plumber who left drywall dust everywhere, which we had to clean up.The hot water was off when we arrived.If we could have enjoyed the amenities instead of cleaning, washing the bedding, or waiting for the plumber it might have been a fun weekend. Our weekend was ruined.

We loved the spacious home with plenty of sleeping. Although there was no chalk, the boys enjoyed the full-size pool table. The fire pit area was nice, but no firewood was provided. The neighborhood was quiet and nicely kept up, but the home is not as secluded as the description says. The a/c worked great but I never did find the “main control” that we were directed to use. We feel the price was too high with so many items needing attention and/or replacement. Disappointed.

Lots of space for large groups to spread out throughout the house. Easy access to nearby attractions

All around great, would recommend, the showers were all clogged when using them and the grill was out of propane. I had very prompt responses when needed and the lake was very close by and we enjoyed the hot tub while there as well.

Nice little house. Plenty of sleeping spaces and lots of kitchen gadgets. The hot tub was lovely. The bedrooms with queens (2) are very tight. Just enough room to move around the bed, but all we did was sleep so not a big problem. The master is huge and the bunk room was great for the kids. The bedroom in the outbuilding was a good size too. The fire pit was awesome as is the plot of land. Nice and quiet, neighbors are quiet and wonderful. Very close to deep creek lake and there are plenty of things to do around town. Grocery store is a good one as well.

Great place secluded but close to the activities.

This house and its carriage house suited our family vacation perfectly. A quiet road and a large yard allowed us less worry about our younger family members. The fire pit with the string lights - the wrap around porch with lots of seating was peaceful and the view - beautiful!! The house is large enough you don’t feel crowded - we had 14 people! The house itself is noisy - you can hear walking on all levels - but we did get used to that. One of us was in a wheelchair at the time of our vacation so the first floor was easily accessible inside and out. Vacasa kept us informed - arrival to departure - and readily answered us with any questions or concerns we had. Deep Creek Lake and everything around it was within minutes of us. We would recommend this home.

Good place for larger family to spread out. Secluded and convenient. Had minor problem and it was taken care of very timely.

Lovely home, beautiful pastoral views out one side, lush woods on the back. Fun things inside to do on rainy cold days.
