The property was exactly as advertised, and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly Recommend!
It was very roomy & was neat & tidy. We’ll stocked kitchen. The property was great. It was a nice place to stay.
We had a great time here, great location to jump on many different ORV trails. The cabin was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The beds were comfortable, nice having two bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again!
Group of friends who like to ride ORVs had a great time staying here. Great location, very relaxing, and very cozy.
From the first moments to check out, we were dazzled by the nature surrounding us. Beautiful property and an excellent launching point for our other adventures! Highly recommend!
Very peaceful
We all had a great stay. Kids already talking about wanting to return next year to the house. Kids enjoyed the swing out in the front. Main floor bedroom could use curtains. Other than that, everything was wonderful. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
We did enjoy our stay. It had everything there we needed for a short week vacation. Nice and secluded in the woods. Definitely enough bed for a group of people to stay. Had all the amenities in the kitchen and laundry. There was video game consoles which was a plus for the kiddos. Cute outdoor patio to relax and enjoy the scenery. The only cons were all the moths flying everywhere and it did get muggy and hot inside and there was only one wall A/C unit downstairs which didnt help when sleeping upstairs at night. Overall, we had a good time.
Friends and family were quite impressed and look to come back next year. I looked for a spot that could house us for 3 days following the Michigan Trout Unlimited Fly Fishing School. Given we had five guys, I needed five beds and this worked out beautifully. Although not directly on a river, the location near the North Branch of the AuSable and fairly close to the Main Stream and South Branch of the AuSable was nice. Oven birds greeted us daily from the surrounding woods and not far from the house a bobcat ran across the road (M-72), the first I’ve ever seen. The beds were quite comfortable except perhaps for the third bed (single) in the large bedroom. My brother said it was a bit hard. (I told him he was just soft.) The kitchen was well supplied with pots, griddle, bowls, plates, cups, etc. Drip coffee maker and Keurig both available. Two full baths (well, showers) served us well. Comfortable sitting room and TV….. basically anything someone could want! Only suggestion from the group was to provide a laminated instruction list so we didn’t need to wade through VRBO when we were checking out. We did want to make sure we left the house in good shape. We look forward to a return visit next year! Thanks for sharing your home!!
Me and my group had a great stay. Nice house, great location, excellent communication with the owner.
This cabin was amazing. We loved the screen in patio. Loved the location and the kids loved going on adventures around the cabin.
I felt like we were far from the hustle of our normal chaotic lives and it was such a clean place and exactly what our family needed !
The property was perfect for what we were looking for. The house was more than we needed but we did need the porch to sit and relax. Lots of room inside too. Nice and clean. No close neighbors, no noise just peace. This would also be a great place for snowmobilers! Lots of trails to ride. We would rent it again. Great place.
We wanted to say what a great stay we had. Very nice cabin. Easy access to town and the river. Host was quick to get back to us with any questions we had. We will definitely be booking with them again. It was nicely tucked in the woods for privacy. Loved the screened in porch to relax. Thanks again Linsi
Stayed a week and the family really enjoyed it. This cabin has everything you need. Bring some groceries and relax. Linsi was very nice and asked if we needed anything and said we could text anytime if we had any issues. We didn’t have any issues. We don’t own any 4 wheelers or side by sides, but if we did this location would be great. There’s trails everywhere. There is places around that rent side by sides if you want though. Torch lake is just over an hour away. We rented a pontoon boat and did a day on the lake. It was wonderful.
Very nice place that you can relax at , and is certainly located to all the towns in the area .
If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place. Surrounded by state land, you can take quiet walks and listen to nature, collect rocks or count how many different animals you find. The cabin was very clean, had everything we needed for a quite cousins get away. Make sure to take bug spray as you are in the forest and it is summer.
