We really enjoyed this beautiful property in the woods. It was warm and cozy looking out at the snow-covered trees. A perfect place to return to after skiing/snowshoeing/hiking the trails. The owner was wonderful. We actually had a power outage while we were there, and she moved us to a new property within a few hours. Great stay. Highly recommend.
Went for a weekend get away to secluded property. If for a horse person, house and land with barns is set and ready for you. State forest trails across the street and dead end road that had zero traffic. Great place for all outdoor up north activities.
Great location for everybody. Close enough to society that it will fit any city dweller and far enough away for some seclusion.
Very nice!
This cabin and property was nothing short of amazing. The cabin itself is very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The property and surrounding area is beautiful and I would highly recommend staying here. We couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming and gracious host… A great time was had by all and we can’t wait to come back!
Nicely appointed properly, everything we needed for our stay. The dogs loved the space to run, and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Close enough to family for visiting, but removed enough to fully relax.
Communication with the property manager was expedient and helpful. The home and property was beautiful and in a great location. Home was clean and inviting. There was just one thing that we personally didn't like. All the beds in the home are full size mattresses and were extremely uncomfortable for 2 people. Maybe we are just used to a larger bed, but the full size mattresses were cramped for the 2 of us and were also very uncomfortable. This was a HUGE bummer since everything else was amazing! For us, the bed situation was a big disappointment. We had a 3 night stay and left a day early just to get back home to sleep in our own comfy bed. I know this isn't a huge deal for most people, but for those that value comfortable large beds, I wanted to share this with the community. Everything else was perfect! Would HIGHLY recommend if the sleeping situation isn't a huge deal to you. Only reason I left it 4 stars was because of the beds.
I had a great time at this house! I felt at home during my stay. It’s secluded, quiet, has a specious outside area. It was very clean, smelled nice, looked just like the listing. Although there was not wifi I had no issue connecting to a tower so I could still use data on my phone, it wasn’t a dead zone. The listing said there was wood on site, I didn’t see any but it might have been all gone before my stay but it was no problem as I found some at a local gas station. I did not need to communicate with the host as everything went smoothly, the check in/out instructions where straight forward and easy to follow. I would recommend staying here and I would LOVE to return one day! Thanks!!!
We enjoyed the property. It was super clean and smelled great when we arrived. Biggest issue was the road (which owner has no control over I know). It’s a dirt road (which I knew prior) but it’s not the kind of dirt I’m used to experiencing. It was a mix or hard dirt and sand. Heavy rain one night meant we couldn’t get out one day as the road was nothing but squishy mud and impassable for a FWD car. Again, nothing the owner can do about that as there are way too many dirt roads in the area. Just don’t bring your good car that’s for sure! And four wheel drive would be helpful. About the property: really enjoyed it but couldn’t find coffee cups. Had coffee, coffee maker and filters but no cups. At least that we could find-maybe we didn’t look hard enough? Not a deal breaker. Biggest ‘issue’ was the shower head and lack of pressure. I like to feel like my skin is being peeled off in the shower :-) and this definitely didn’t do it for us. But that’s a super easy fix that I had to do with my own place. Again not a deal breaker. Overall, outside the road, if you’re looking for a wooded “people free” place to stay this would be perfect. Just don’t bring your hood car!
We had a great time here at the ranch. It exceeded our expectations and has everything well stocked. We were 5 minutes from our favorite xc ski place Forbush Corner and had a great time. This place was cozy comfortable and clean. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this host - she was so accommodating and genuinely wants guests to enjoy their stay. Five stars for sure!
You will love it here ❤
