Stayed Dec 4, 2025We had an excellent stay at this house and it was perfect for a small group! The place is clean, cozy, and has everything you could need. The host, Amy, was incredibly welcoming and couldn’t have been more communicative. I could not recommend this place more and will look to stay here again next time I'm on island.

Stayed Oct 12, 2024The Fred Shed is absolutely immaculate ... new construction with high-end everything. We are twins who were gifted a weekend getaway at this beautiful island (with our spouses!) for our 40th birthday. The last time we were here was the summer we turned 13 (!) ... and there could be no better way to now start a new decade. We adventured, we ate well, we went at a pace so vastly different from our home lives... and we were fortunate enough to wake each morning and end each day here at the Fred Shed. It is so bright, exceptionally comfortable, beautiful, and well-appointed. What a gorgeous place. Hoping we can return again one day!

Stayed Jul 27, 2024We just returned from a fabulous stay in this newly renovated, beautiful property. The host was terrific to work with throughout the process. Very helpful and very responsive. The house, which was on a large lot in Tom Nevers East, was perfect truly. The house had every amenity that you could need or want. The furnishings were lovely and very comfortable. The shiplapped walls had that true Nantucket feel. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. The outdoor deck was a great place to eat, and opening the door with the screen in place was a perfect way to bring in the fresh air while hanging in the house. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 and half baths with another bed in the loft, which also has a perfect work space. I would rent this incredible home again in a second. If you are looking at this property, don't think twice. It is beautiful, spotless, and fully epuipped for a perfect stay in this charming town! In was unanimous with our group of 5 . . . we HIGHLY RECOMMEND and we can't wait to return! Thank you host, Amy, for a wonderful week!
