The cabin was very clean and secluded for a nice trip away from the hustle and bustle. The deck space and amenities makes this a definite place we will return. We did not take a dog but if you do there is an amazing fenced in place for the dogs and the deck is dog friendly. The communication made this stay smooth and easy.

My wife and I really enjoyed ourselves staying at this log cabin. It truly is a peaceful and quiet place to stay. The listing was very accurate, It had all the essentials we needed for our stay.The cabin is far enough away from town to be peaceful and enjoy nature, but close enough to get to activities in the area.The host was easy to communicate with and was a smooth check in and check ot process.We would definetly stay here again

This cabin was perfect! Secluded, clean, quiet, pet friendly, had a hot tub and great proximity to multiple parks.

One of our favorite getaway spots. Quiet and secluded, with plenty of room both indoors and out for everyone to explore and enjoy! Everything is as described. Very clean and easy to leave it the way you found it. This was our third time staying here and hopefully not our last!

This home had everything on our list for an ideal, quiet birthday weekend! Remote, but easy to get to. Quiet, but near adventure opportunities. Not only were we able to bring our dog, but the fenced in yard attached to the balcony was really smart! There were even couch covers so we could let our little couch hippo relax after hiking all day while we soaked in the hot tub. The kitchen offered ample space for cooking. The upstairs loft (primary bedroom) was really comfortable with great views, looking out three directions onto the property and beyond. We will definitely return! Thank you, Teresa for being such a great host!

Clean remote and quiet property

This cabin was a delight! Once you get down the driveway, all you can see is wilderness and wildlife. It was clean and well stocked. There were tons of games and movies for entertainment. The balcony of the loft bedroom was one of our favorite places to sit. 10/10!

Very nice secluded cabin. Love the hot tub and wood burning fireplace also an outdoor fire pit we didn't get a chance to use. My wife loved the nice size kitchen. Wish we could have stayed longer

Perfect cabin with a convenient location!

Beautiful, quiet, and peaceful location on outskirts of town. Cabin was so comfy and cozy. It is a true “jewel”. Easy reservations and excellent communication from Theresa! Hot tub was the cherry on top! Left this heaven on earth with a renewed joy and peace in our soul!!! We are making plans to stay again in winter!

As the owner stated to us, the cabin does have it's quirks; however, that didn't make it unenjoyable! We went with our three dogs and had a beautiful time. Our dogs loved being able to lounge outside on the deck and in the fenced in back yard. We normally have to keep them on a lead or leash at our townhouse complex in Pittsburgh, so the freedom for them was lovely. There is absolutely no light pollution or sound pollution. The view of the night sky is breathtaking. The hot tub is pleasent and would be even better (I'm sure) in the fall and winter. We came to WV to grieve the loss of our daughter in peace, and Teresa and the cabin provided just that. We hope to be back in the future (maybe with snow!)

We absolutely loved this cabin! Plenty of room inside and out. Teresa is a gem! She goes beyond to make sure your stay is the most comfortable! We enjoyed the hot tub so much, we're thinking about buying one now. If you want to just rest, relax, read, reboot yourself, this is the perfect place. Clean, quiet, and full of nature

Listing said AC but there was only a small window AC on third floor. And charge a 1.00 for each piece of firewood you used.

First and foremost, Teresa was fantastic from start to finish. Excellent communication and hospitality. Property was clean and as described. Master bed was very comfortable. Loved that the dogs had plenty of room to run. Hot tub was nice after busy days. The trails on the property were great! The location was perfect- far enough away to feel secluded, yet 5 mins or less to anything you need. Looking forward to staying again!!

We stayed here for a small guys trip while my girlfriend was on a bachelorette trip. It ended up being just two of us because the third couldn’t make it due to work. We had a wonderful time! The cabin and location were both super nice. It was quiet, private, and you could really enjoy nature - just the reset from the daily grind we needed. My dog loved the gated deck and fenced in back yard. We went on several hikes in the area and relaxed in the hot tub the one evening. It was also nice that even while being remote, cell reception was great at the cabin.

The property was exactly as described, and the host is easy to communicate with. The kitchen was very well stocked, cabin is cozy, in a peaceful and quiet setting. I highly recommend

Secluded, peaceful, nature paradise and very relaxing!

My family enjoyed everyday we were here! We had rain the last full day, but we still got out and ran around. We tracked through the woods around the poperty, we brought my sons lasar tag and ran around in the evenings (perfect place) there is a fenced in yard for the dog! The hot tub was amazingly relaxing. Perfect and quiet weekend.

We had a lovely time. Mostly stayed at the cabin soaking in the hot tub and just enjoying being unplugged for a few days. Reasonable rates and a beautiful property. Would definitely recommend.

This cabin is PERFECT for a quiet weekend away (or longer). It truly has everything you could need and is absolutely silent, aside from the birds singing. Beautiful area with lots to do and great little restaurants. Teresa is so kind and attended to every possible detail to ensure that our stay was perfect. Can't recommend highly enough - we plan to come back at least annually!

We love it here. We especially love the fenced in area for the furbabies!! We enjoy getting away with them.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We really enjoy being in peace and quiet in order to unwind and relax. The cabin was super clean with a perfectly stocked kitchen and great hot tub. We hung out by the fire each day, reading and relaxing and also sat in the hottub at night, watching the stars and enjoying the quiet. We did a couple hikes and visited one of our favorite breweries, Big Timber, in Elkins. We will definitely be repeat renters- this was a perfect location for us.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was so private and the hot tub was so relaxing. It was just what we needed to escape for a long weekend!

We love staying at this property! This is the second year we have stayed and the owner is so kind and very responsive. We enjoy the peace and quiet, love the hot tub, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked. We will return again next year!

Cabin is exactly as pictured. Our first night we saw deer, turkeys & more. Cabin had everything and after an 12 mile hike it was wonderful to come back to & relax. We will definately book again.

Home and property were beautiful clean. We enjoyed the space and warmth of the home. My partner and I stayed with our small dog and had zero complains. House is well stocked as well. We will definitely be returning!

Rained every day we were there but still had such a nice time. It was so peaceful and relaxing, and the second story deck is the prefect place to sit and listen to a rainstorm. Dogs loved the fenced in deck and yard while we lounged in the hot tub. Beautiful drive to the cabin as well. Would stay here again
