The cabin was perfect for my daughter and me on a girl 's trip. The location was away from the crowds and we could drive to the many places we wanted to visit.

Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us! We loved the porch, inside space, ample bedrooms and wonderful kid-friendly loft. Being out in the woods but close to so much beauty was the perfect summer vacation for our family.

Cute cabin with a wonderful deck to relax on. Beautiful, peaceful location with lots of privacy and trees but still convenient to many attractions. A bit of a hike downhill to the water which peeks through the trees, so we didn't try the canoe. An FYI for anyone who has to have workable internet, you will learn to unplug as the wifi was non-existent unless you tether to your phone. Cell service was just fine. We definitely got to unwind here!

Great location to enjoy all that Acadia offers! Well maintained log home in private setting. Everything clean and no odors. Well equipped. Has clean gas grill and oven, gas range, clean bathroom and shower. Great washer dryer in basement which is accessible from outside the house. Comfortable beds. Screens and windows are in great shape so you can enjoy nice breeze. Nearby local markets and takeaways seafood. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice, well stocked cabin deep in the woods was perfect location for our family vacation in Maine. The location was ideal as we split our time between Schoodic peninsula and Bar Harbor. Wi-Fi was poor (to be expected deep in the woods), but not a problem as we played card games, read, etc. in the evening and were off exploring during the day.

Overall we enjoyed the stay, cute cabin There were a couple of things that I would change though. Towels had a very musty smell. I’m thinking because one has to put them to wash before checking out and if you leave early they are just sitting in washer till cleaners arrive. There was a bedroom that also had an odd smell almost like spices. We are a family of 6 when we would have breakfast or dinner we couldn’t all sit at the table due to that there were only 4 chairs. These are small things just thought to point out. Overall we enjoyed the cute cabin.

The woods and the sea together, overwhelmed with the things to see and experience. Love the stars at night. You're able to see the bands of the milky way. Kids loved the vhs tapes.

My family and I had a most wonderful time at the cabin by the cove. We dug up clams and tried the canoe, and our dog loved rolling about on the grass in front of the property. The surrounding area is replete with scenic views and quaint shops, and the cabin is a very manageable drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, which we visited several times. We are very pleased with our visit and hope to be back again soon!

We loved our stay here. The cabin was in great shape and a clean. Kitchen was well stocked. The cabin is in a nice secluded area surrounded by woods. You can here a bit of road noise from time to time, but not so much it's take away from the quiet privacy. You have to go down a dirt road to get here, so low riding cars might have a hard time. The walk down to the water was easy enough for a person, but getting the canoe to the water and back would have be really difficult, so we opted not to use it. Don't count on the internet for reliability if you're going to try and use it for work. Overall, I would love to stay here again.

We loved the quiet getaway this cabin provided. It was very clean. We were able to easily explore Acadia (both MDI and the Schoodic peninsula) from here. The location is quiet and the porch is so peaceful! We loved the chairs out there. Our hosts were quick to respond when the dishwasher ran all night and pooled water. There was a light flickering in the bathroom, but we found that the vanity lights gave off the same amount of light (we did not contact the hosts since it was not a big deal to us). There were plenty of towels. We always look for cabins with spiral staircases, so we were excited this one had one! Just be very careful around it because it is a tight squeeze between the bedroom entrances and the bathroom entrance (I'm 5'1 for reference.) My kids hit their heads multiple times walking under the steps. We would have loved an extra chair or two at the kitchen table, since the cabin sleeps 6 but there were only 4 chairs. (There might have been additional chairs in the basement, but we didn't look. We tried pulling up a rocking chair, but it was too tight.) The guestbook provides lots of helpful local recommendations for anything you might need in the area, as well as helpful information about the cabin. We ventured down to the water once, but didn't attempt to bring the canoe down. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin. We loved it to stay there. The cabin has a lot of beautiful details which make you feel home immidiately. The kids loved the floor upstairs because there are a lot of toys for kids. Everything you need you have in this cabin. The Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor are not far away but you are not in the touristic area and you have a peaceful and quiet place. The communication with the rental service was great. They take care about all what you need. We had a great time and we hope that we have the possibility to visit the cabin again.
