We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage with easy access to Schoodic and MDI areas of Acadia. The property was just as described. The lake was beautiful and clear and also pretty warm for swimming. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/tools and also had some pantry staples. The house was very comfortable. The only TV is in a second floor bedroom. That worked out great for us because we were happy to de-emphasize media consumption. We played cards and watched the birds instead. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cottage!

Even better than pictured! Easy check in. Kitchen was incredibly well stocked. Very clean. We spent so much time on the gorgeous wrap around deck playing monopoly! Kids loved swimming from the dock. We explored the Schoodic peninsula, visited Acadia, and had many lakefront days. Highly recommend!

Very nice, well equipped house in a tranquil setting. Our family with older kids enjoyed our stay very much. The beds are comfortable and there is so much to do in the local area. Dan has provided a lovely retreat and tons of useful information on just about everything you need to know to enjoy your stay in Maine.

Property was very clean and comfortable for my family of 5. Dan was very responsive. Property is about 30 minutes from Schoodic region and an hour from Bar Harbor… but all easy scenic drives. On a lake with lots of birds and wildlife in the area. We would stay again.

The cottage was very comfortable. The view from the dock was beautiful, especially at sunset. We were able to get to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island, and then had a quiet home base to return to everyday. The Schoodic peninsula trails are close. We enjoyed lunch on the Wharf in Corea. I would definitely come back for another stay.
