Secluded Family escape w/ pool & jacuzzi

nice kitchen, need more silver wear.

We enjoyed our stay. The house could use a little TLC on the inside (furniture dated and stairway going upstairs needs work) and outside (lawn mowing and landscaping). But the gem of the property was the pool. We used it every day (often multiple times the same day.) We will definitely consider returning to the property next year.

We stayed 2 nights, the house was a nice size, very clean and had all the necessities. The only reason I am giving an overall rating of 4 stars is because the house was freezing, no matter if we raised the temp, it must be on a timer because it kept going back down to 55 and we couldn’t really use the pool table because the garage where it is located is also absolutely freezing. But that aside, close to restaurants and Clinton outlets which was great.

A perfect spot to meet up for our small family. Beautiful, well-appointed home and layout in a lovely wooded setting...close to towns and restaurants...great kitchen there too we used a little! Holiday greenery added a pretty and welcoming touch thanks to nicest hosts ever. Comfy living area and spacious bedrooms especially nice for the toddler with us. Highly recommend a stay here.

We appreciated the peaceful location and were able to accommodate our group. The host was responsive and that was appreciated.

The property was well equipped and had plenty of space and amenities for our group of 11, ages 22 months to 70 years. There appeared to be a water leak into the basement and the seal for the door to the downstairs shower stall was broken, but otherwise there were no maintenance issues. Communication with the host was seamless through the Vrbo website and the detailed house instruction/rules brochure.

The home and location were fantastic, and communication with Mark was great- all questions answered promptly. Our only downside was not enough cutlery or plates and glasses for the large family that this home accommodates. Also only 2 dish towels and no hand towels for the bath rooms. Otherwise an amazing time was had by all, and the fire out and hot tub really added to the fun- thank you!!!!

Pros: The owner very responsive and understanding. He quickly purchased a few items that were missing (vacuum, pot holders, working trash can). The pool is spacious, hot tub was clean and comfortable and there were plenty of clean towels for everyone. There was a great outdoor space with lots of room for kids to run and the fire pit was a nice feature. Lastly, we cooked every night and the kitchen tools we needed were all there. Cons: The house does fit 11 people but it's tight. The fridge was missing some shelves on the doors which made it hard to fit everything. It was also hard to fit food in the kitchen with the limited cabinet space so we kept everything on the server/bureau in the dining room. There was only one TV in the house and very slow internet. Some areas of the house are a bit run down (downstairs bathroom very outdated/not super functional, electrical/outlet issues twice, couches and pillows worn out and torn, garage game room not clean) and there were mouse droppings in many of the kitchen drawers.

The house was amazing. Mark was very responsive and extremely helpful. Everyone had a blast!
