We stayed to attend a family wedding at the water’s edge resort The house was a very short drive from the resort The home was comfortable, clean and close to where we needed to be The restaurant suggestion were great and we took advantage of them to enjoy delicious food and great service. We stayed for a beautiful week in October with unseasonably warm weather and enjoyed everything about it! The location was perfect and close to so many things to do and eat! Heather was exceptionally helpful and communication was great from reservation to checkout. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, charming and spotless. Entry was easy and we enjoyed the outdoor space. We loved walking to the beach and exploring the shore. The location is central tocoffee shops, restaurants,pharmacy and grocery store. The host was very gracious and was in touch all weekend. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was perfect, easy entry, home was very clean and welcoming. The backyard being fenced in left no worry that our 2 yr.old granddaughter was safe and had plenty of yard to kick the ball and run around. I was a bit worried about the beach area but it worked beautifully, the walk was pretty and effortless as well as being welcomed by the locals who grew up there. Loved our stay at this house, had everything you needed and more, the walk to the beach was amazing, so picturesque and it’s done in less than 5 minutes, also went to Westbrook beach which was close by like a 5 minute drive. Heather was very accommodating, got back to you promptly with any questions you may have.Thank you

We were traveling for a milestone celebration with family. Due to an unexpected change in our plans, Heather came through for us with a last minute reservation. Heather was so kind and helpful and it was clear she wants her guests have a wonderful visit and are able to relax and enjoy their time. The property is well located, close to restaurants and walkable to the association beach. She has a nice back yard and two large deck areas and a fire pit for outdoor space and the whole family loved the basketball pop a shot in the basement. My kids are still talking about it! Heather provides a helpful list of nearby attractions and restaurants. The home is beautifully decorated with really pretty art and the listing was very accurate. My family is so grateful for the time we got to spend together on this vacation.

My mother, father, husband and 5 year old stayed here for Thanksgiving. The house is immaculate. Even in winter, the ability to go to the beach was fantastic. Because it was Thanksgiving, I had to cook and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and options to cook with in a rental kitchen. The knives were even sharp. The beds were comfortable, the outdoor sower a joy and the host attentive and considerate.

House had a good amount of space, clean, updated. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Beds were very comfortable. We stayed in November - heat and gas fire place worked well. Easy to pick up prepared food nearby - good seafood. Responsive host.

Heather’s home was the perfect stay for my son and daughter-in-law and my 2 granddaughters. Her home is sparkling clean and beautifully decorated with a relaxed beach theme. My grandchildren were so to stay there, that they asked when they could come back and stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very clean and well equipped. The location is great as it is down the street from the beach and close to shopping. This is a great lodging alternative for anyone attending an event at Waters Edge Resort.

As advertised. Great spot and house.

First of all, our host was really amazing... from pre-trip questions to information upon arriving to a few questions while we were in the home. The house was perfect. Really clean and updated. It made us all feel really comfortable and relaxed. Well appointed from bedrooms to all of what we needed in the kitchen. Loved that we could walk to the sweet and private beach. And I fell in love with this part of Connecticut. Westbrook, yes. But also Madison, Old Saybrook and Essex. Would love to come back and stay longer. Really a great spot for a gathering with my two adult daughters!

We loved our stay here! The cottage was so charming and spacious. Heather was amazing and very communicative throughout our entire stay. Highly recommend booking this rental! We had such a wonderful time!

We were in for 5 nights and had a great few days in town meeting with family and friends. We spent time at the association beach’s NS local beaches were easy to access. During our stay we had some questions and Hearher was quick to respond. Overall a great stay.

Enjoyed our stay while in town for a wedding at the Waters Edge. Location was perfect, house fully equipped, beds comfortable and cottage was sparkling clean. Nice easy walk to private beach. Close to shopping. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
