Stayed Jun 8, 2025The house is lovely and extremely well-stocked! There were plenty of pool towels, inside and outside dishes, games, blankets for snuggling on the couch, and more. The pool is new, beautiful, and large! The property management team was very responsive. For those considering a stay, be aware the property is a good 20 minutes from downtown Sebastopol along two-lane country roads with pretty spectacular views :)

Stayed Apr 11, 2024The home was beautiful and as described with plenty of cooking supplies which was appreciated given the 10-15 minute drive into downtown Sebastopol. Cell phone service can be a little spotty in the area for AT&T but Verizon worked fairly well. Plus the good wifi more than compensated for this. This home is what other VRBO homes strive to be. Comfortable beds, plenty of amenities, good WiFi, and good communication with property managers.

Stayed Nov 22, 2023Our family had a wonderful stay at English Hill. The home sits on a hill with a beautiful vista great for watching the sunset. The home is spacious with a wonderfully stocked kitchen. We took lovely walks and a nice bike ride, though you better like climbing hills. Sebastopol is just a 10 minute drive away. The beach In Bodega Bay is about 15 minutes away. We will return to English Hill.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This house had nearly everything! The house was newly furnished, clean and very comfortable. It appeared some of the amenities were still being completed (no landscaping in the yard and the pool cover was not yet installed), but outside of those items, the home was awesome and had great views of the countryside. Beds and all furniture was very comfortable. We spent lots of time using the spa/pool, as well as eating on the outside patio. The house is off the beaten path, which added to the peacefulness of the surroundings. Would highly recommend.

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had fabulous stay here! Honestly, the photos don't do this place justice; the house is really beautiful & modern. We appreciated how spacious, clean and well-equipped it was too. And the 6-acre property was just what we wanted for our weekend escape from the city. There's also a hot tub, fire pit and heating lamp, which allowed us to enjoy the outdoors during the cold evenings. The only things worth noting is that one of the 4 bedrooms is only accessible by walking through another bedroom. This wasn't a big deal for us, since our kids stayed in that room, but might be for some. Also, it took us a little effort to find the house we we first arrived, but we also got there after dark. Overall though, the property was fantastic, and we would definitely stay there again!

However some unfinished details/suboptimal aspects: No blinds/curtains in some rooms means waking up at dawn, honestly not great for a relaxing retreat location! No hot water past a certain hour (likely because of the solar energy)... Shower early!

Stayed Sep 24, 2021We loved our stay. The house was the perfect size for enjoying a dinner amongst friends and the fully stocked kitchen was much appreciated. Bathrooms and rooms were amazing, I would def recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the north bay!

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is beautiful and the kitchen has the best stocked kitchen and cooking utensils of any rental we have used. It was clean and well maintained inside and out. It is very private and a bit away from town but we enjoyed that aspect. We weren’t familiar with Apple TV and there were no instructions on how to use it. This was during the Olympics so we had an IPad we were able to use. During the last 24 hours there, the internet was down. Turnkey did compensate us for that and while it was annoying it didn’t ruin our vacation. We had our boat and spent two beautiful days on Tamales Bay and another hiking Point Reyes. I would stay in this location again. Only wish we could have brought our dogs and there is fenced areas they could be in outside.
