Escape to Spirit Hill Farm

Spirit Hill is the absolute best.

I can't say enough good things about this property. In short, this property exceeded expectations -- beautiful home, pool and jacuzzi are heated and clean, fire pit is beautiful, fruit and veggie garden are bountiful, chicken coupe is fun for the kids.

We stayed here for a birthday celebration! There were 7 of us and honestly, the pictures don't do it justice—it’s such a wonderful place to stay—the grounds are just gorgeous! The house seems even bigger in person with tall ceilings and it's decorated so beautifully. There was a basket of s’mores waiting for us by the back door, ready to use with the firepit---tons of veggies and fruits growing that we were encouraged to pick from—we were able to get eggs from the hens and tomatoes, cucumbers and basil from the garden (so yummy!!)! Outside,the fountain in the rose garden is lovely to listen to! The beds were comfy and our hosts were able to add additional blow-up beds for our comfort. The pool and spa were resort-like and we felt like we had hit the jackpot with the privacy and exclusiveness of the property. Additionally, the stocking of the house (from organic spices and coffee beans ready with a grinder and pot to put it in, plus all of the appliances and serveware were top-notch. We are used to bringing those 'extra' things to houses we rent, yet with this house, it was all already there and high quality, too (Smeg toaster)!!! THANK YOU to Hannah and Adam who were very gracious and helpful with all of our questions! We hope to be back soon!

We had the best time at this property. The property mangers were responsive with all of our questions, and the grounds are beyond gorgeous. We all wanted to stay longer so we could really experience magic of this property.

Entire stay process was seamless and delightful.

Perfect in every way. We celebrated two 50th birthdays and a 10th birthday, rotating through old friends and family over the course of a week+. It is spacious but intimate with perfect gathering areas and secret garden cloisters. The decor is fantastic, the location ideal and the management friendly and professional. A perfect place for a self-directed, luxury country retreat.

We had an ideal weekend at Spirit Hill Farm. It is a stunning spot. The outdoor area had so many wonderful places to spend time - we enjoyed the exquisite flowers, the pool, the fire pit, cozy chairs, the vegetable garden... And the inside was so relaxing. We had joyful family dinners and game playing at the big dining room table. Proximity to lovely towns, the Russian River, and the beach was awesome. It was a perfect place for a get away.

Just an hour from San Francisco but a world away. Loved the chickens and farm fresh eggs, the bounty in the gardens, and the curated, thoughtful feel inside and outside the home.
