This was the perfect home to spend a few days seeing the Redwoods and some of the Pacific Coast. We loved everything about the house, the yard—even coming up the drive felt like an idyllic escape. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything from shampoo/conditioner/bodywash combo in the showers, plenty of supplies and even laundry supplies. Beyond those nice things, it was just magical—games, books, the piano, wiffle ball games and tossing the football around in the yard, hot tubbing with an ocean view… Such a peaceful family vacation—I wish we could have stayed forever. Thank you!

We could not have stayed at a nicer place while up in the Trinidad area celebrating our sons graduation from college. We'll be back for sure and look forward to staying there again.

Seawood Vista was just what we needed for our getaway. The house was clean, well appointed and stocked. The kitchen and master bath were beautiful, and the living room TV was huge. The view of the ocean from the hot tub was spectacular and when the jets were off we could hear the waves and sealions in the distance. The hot tub was the cleanest I've seen at a vacation property! Trinidad (such a charming town) is a short drive and the people are very welcoming. The market has fun local fare and we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Trinidad Bay Eatery and Gallery.If I had complaints they would be the memory foam mattress was too soft for us and the sofa was a little uncomfortable. Overall though I would definitely recommend Seawood Vista to friends!

Home was lovely and well stocked. The hot tub was very nice and the wood burning stove was cozy! The views were amazing! We appreciated that the checkout/cleanup policy was reasonable. My only gripe is that the check-in time is kind of late (4pm) and the checkout time is early (10am) for the price you are paying.

It truly is a paradise because of the architecture, the attention to the highest quality beds, bedding, furnishings, views, surroundings. We feel just like we are in our own home, and we appreciate the luxuries this vacation rental provides. We've been here before and we are coming back, instead on once a year, twice, and for longer stays. NO city lights; you see the stars so easily. NO city noise, your mind and heart relax and rejuvenate. I wish it were mine! I have already recommended it to several friends.

My family and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The property is perfectly maintained and the ocean views from the deck and hot tub are an absolute dream. The property manager communicated wonderfully and the day trips to the redwoods and the beach were incredible. I hope to visit again!

Our family of five spent a week here in late July, early August. The property is fantastic. It is secluded and while mear a main road you’ll never know it. This place is a retreat and we used the whole property, from the hot tub on the back deck overlooking the Pacific to the front yard playing soccer with the kids. The kitchen was the main hub and it is well appointed. You’ll love drinking your coffee and cooking breakfast while the family makes plans around the large island with an ocean view in the background. The location is right in the middle of the redwoods. We spent about half of our time south torward Eureka and the other half north around crescent city. There is so much to see and this is such a nice home base I wish we would have had more time. Make sure you check out Seawood Cape. It’s a great spot to walk to in the morning before everyone gets up where you can have the Pacific and the sea lions all to yourself. My son and I did this on our last morning at the property and it was the perfect way to finish an extraordinary trip.

Our family loved staying at this home with beautiful views! Perfect location for daily hiking excursions in the redwoods and delicious food/coffee in town. The house was clean and thoughtfully laid out.
