Stayed Jul 19, 2025Our stay at the Knotty Dog was enjoyable. The Sea Watch community is a nice place to stay. The neighborhood was quiet, there are sidewalks to the pool/tennis courts, the private beach access with a restroom was really nice, and the location was great. The house was exactly as described from the listing and the space was just what we needed for the week. The beach items in the closet was an extra added bonus. A few things to note - the kitchen was fine, but I have stayed at places with a lot more options for cooking and a bit better quality. The linen situation was a bit frustrating. There was only a washcloth in the main floor bathroom and ONE hand towel provided in the kitchen. There were 10 of us in the property for a week - we needed more towels. They only provided 2 pillows per bed, which isn't a big deal, but again we had 10 people and were using every single bed - some of us like more than 1 pillow. We went out on day 1 and purchased pillows/pillow cases/hand towels/washclothes. The sheets were low quality. There were no blinds on the bedrooms on the third floor, and the curtains on the windows were sheer. Luckily we are early birds, but it got very bright in our rooms quite early. The doors to the third floor deck had no blinds/curtains. Overall we were happy with our stay, but we felt like for the price we paid a few improvements/extra amenities could be provided to take this from a good stay to an excellent stay.

Stayed Jul 1, 2025We had a great time during our stay at Knotty Dog. The location is ideal and the amenities of the pool and playground are so nice! The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The host is easy to contact and communicate with via txt which was nice. The only thing I’d recommend is more dish towels be provided for the kitchen. For that many people only having two dish towels was not practical. Loved our stay otherwise!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969What a fantastic place to stay on Kure Beach!! We were just thrilled with this house. Clean and casual and relaxed. Having a middle floor without bedrooms provided a great place to gather without bothering sleepers. Easy for the whole family to gather in the family room and kitchen combo. The outdoor covered porches are surrounded by trees which create such a relaxed and cool place to read on the porch swing or eat at the table or just sit and talk in the rockers and chairs. We loved the walk to the beach. We passed butterfly covered plants (the landscaping and white picket fences are beautiful) and the kids' park and the pool on the way to the beach. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, a great coffee maker and out back a gas grill. Beds were comfy with most rooms having a place to head to a porch or outdoor space. The little ones who were with us had so much room to play! We will definitely return! Until next time, hope others enjoy Knotty Dog as much as we did!!!

Stayed Jun 30, 2024Knotty Dog was a perfect spot for our family getaway. The house was clean and had all the needed supplies. It was a 2 minute walk to the pool and a 5 minute walk to the private beach access. The neighborhood and neighbors were all welcoming. The communication with iTrip was great they were extremely helpful. We had enjoyed our stay and will definitely look to stay here again on future trips.

Stayed Jun 15, 2024Our family of nine had a wonderful time at Knotty Dog. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The beach was not crowded & pool was close by. The kids played Pickle Ball on the tennis court. And we were very blessed to have beautiful weather. Who could ask for more? Would definetly come here again.

Stayed May 27, 2024Highly recommend! Plenty of room and well appointed. We love the 2nd floor with wide open living, dining, and kitchen area. The path right next to the house leads straight to the pool and just after the pool is the sidewalk to the beach entrance. Less than 5 min walk to the beach. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again!

Stayed May 24, 2024Knotty Dog was very spacious and clean. The Seawatch neighborhood was very nice - beautiful homes and landscaping, short walk to the beach and pool, and friendly folks.
