Stayed Aug 30, 2024Check in was super easy and we were able to check in sooner than listed. This was super nice since we didn't have to find other things to do. The house was roomy enough for the 6 of us. Kitchen was well stocked. Bathrooms were small but the walk in showers were nice. Location was great and it was a really quick walk to the beach. We were able to celebrate our grand daughters birthday and she had an entire birthday weekend at the beach.

Stayed Jun 8, 2024We have been to OIB the past several years. This was one of the smaller homes we have rented on the island. It was quite cozy inside and updated. While there, we had several problems arise. We had to purchase a coffee maker as the house only provided a Keurig— not a big deal, while the rest of the kitchen was stocked with most of the things we needed. Upon our arrival we had an issue with ants that were manageable with cleanliness and wiping down the cabinets daily. I feel like the cleanliness of the home could have been better. The host offered to have pest control come out, however we did not want chemicals sprayed with our small children there. In one of the king bedrooms, the toilet is located so close to the shower that it is impossible to sit facing forward on it. Another one of the shower in the home leaked water all over the floor and therefore was unusable all week to us. While the host was very kind enough to send someone out we opted out of this option to avoid interruption of our vacation. We grilled most nights. The propane tank had to be filled- which the owner offered reimbursement. During one of the days we were there, the air conditioner turned off for about an hour and half or so during the hottest time of the day. This was an inconvenience to us with having small children who were napping during this time. Unbeknownst to us, we didn’t have control on turning the thermostat on. This was only remedied by calling the owner who then turned it on remotely.
