Seaside Retreat, Steps to the Beach, Pet Friendly, Huge Porch

Just wrapped up our second stay at this wonderful VRBO, and it was every bit as perfect as we remembered. The home is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The walk to the beach is easy, and with fewer crowds this time of year, we had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the ocean.We especially loved spending time on the screened-in porch. It was peaceful, breezy, and a favorite spot for both us and our dogs. It’s such a gift to find a place that feels effortless, and the host truly makes everything so easy from start to finish.Already looking forward to our next visit. We’ll definitely be staying here again

Excellent stay. Great communication with the host. The home was clean, comfortable and just one block from the 5 East beach access. After putting up a temp. baricade to the back corner of the house, the yard became completely enclosed for our small dogs to roam off leash. The outdoor shower was a plus, and we enjoyed relaxing on the screened-in porch in the evenings. We would stay here again.

Check in was easy. It was spacious, clean and bright from the many windows. The kitchen was well equipped with a coffee maker and a Keurig, which I found as a nice touch. It was a short walk to the beach which had warm and calm water to swim in. I mention this because we stayed in Outer Banks, NC three different summers and the water was rough and had extreme winds everday. There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water which was fantastic for returning from a day at the beach.Kevin, the host, was thoughtful and available at anytime if needed. We would highly recommend this place and plan on returning. Rebecca

Over all very spacious beach house. All though the carpet was stained in one bedroom. There was a good bit of white dog hair throughout the house. I had to clean the filter in the Shark Vaccum to vaccum.(it was black and smelled like a dog). I didn't mind cleaning it, those need cleaning from time to time. (House cleaning is a second job that I have, seriously)The outdoor shower was very nice and handy. The outside areas could have been more tidy. Loved the laundry area and the little extras like soap, shampoo, conditioner, make-up remover wipes and providing a start with paper towels and toilet paper. Oh and the bath towels and linens. Very nice touch with how the towels were left on the beds when we arrived. A very short walk to the beach and from town. We love bringing our dog Abe on his first beach trip. We loved the game/ puzzle table, so relaxing!!! We put one puzzle together twice!! Would highly recommend

Great location, very clean and fit our family well.

Location, location, location. 3-minute walk to the beach. Wonderful 2nd floor with tons of windows. Close to Bert’s and Center Street. Highly recommend. Great, open air with an amazing porch! Management was flexible and easy to communicate with. Would definitely go back!!!

This is our second stay here. It is perfect for us. It is clean, well maintained and central to everything. You can walk to town and the beach easily. The owner is quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely family room and porch just one block from the beach.

We enjoyed our first trip to Folly Beach area and were very appreciative of the pet accommodations and responsiveness of the property manager. The space is bright and roomy and the screened porch is wonderful. We did not feel the property was ready to be rented; perhaps because we were early in the season, but it seemed there should have been a more careful preparation/checklist in advance. Grill was filthy, stove was old and not working properly, shower curtain had mold and numerous kitchen items were dirty and had to be cleaned before using. The yard has lots of junk lying around and just was not presentable as a beach retreat. For the total expense over 4k, this was not good.
